Stop making remakes! -Crow T. Scrotor After hearing the reviews for the Dukes of Hazzard movie, I thought that we had hit the bottom of the barrel as far as remakes. Then I look up the Three Stooges and see this.... www.imdb.com/title/tt0383010/You know putting a twist on a remake is like shining up a piece of ****. No matter what it''s still looks like, smells like, and tastes like a piece of ****. And sometimes, no ALL of the time, it makes it worse. I don't want to see Bewitched be a movie within a movie, I don't want to see African-Americans as the Honeymooners, I don't want to see the Three Stooges as women. I'm really getting sick of these bastardized version of movies. It makes me yearn for the days of Ted Turner colorizing Casablanca. Terrible.

I could get mad about this... but I would rather not care.

So, are they going to be three women working in a factory who put each others heads in grinders, poke each other in the eyes, and smack each other with shoulder-mounted ladders, while they fight Nazis?

What are you guys talking about, these remakes are great. Next you'll be saying Hollywood is creatively bankrupt.

Well, it looks like this release won't be until 2007...maybe a write-in petition will kill it.
You'd think that with all the writers out there, creative stories would be mega in abundance! What about all those screen writers who did not get chosen for Project Greenlight???

I just can't get upset about this crap anymore, As Shep said Hollywood is "creatively bankrupt". They are just taking anything old they can find and trying to make a dime off of it. And you know what if people want to go and see this crap GOOD FOR THEM! This idea is so absurd that It's laughable. "The Three Stooges as woman!?" "HOORAY!!" "It can star Ann Coulter, Jessica Simpson, and Lindsey Lohan!"
Just forget about it and it will disappear.... just like that Honeymooners movie did.

I think for making the Three Stooges, Hollywood is morally bankrupt as well.
BTW, I agree with every word Forrest said.

Women as Stooges? That's just so dead wrong on so many levels.
Idiots.

Gosh damnit, I am tired of it. Remaking crappy movies is bad enough. Quit touching good stuff in such a MISERABLE way!
Once again, my hatred of the Farrelly brothers is sustained.

There was a similar rant on another board I frequent, but that was more about Hollywood raping his childhood memories.
