Moving Violations... haha... I LOVED that dumb movie when I was a kid. That would be a guilty pleasure if I could watch it again.
I also kind of like a few Adam Sandler movies... Happy Gilmore and Wedding Singer still make me chuckle here and there whenever I catch them on cable.

It's just when he uses the annoying voices (like in "Waterboy" or "Little Nicky") that I can't handle it. The other night, "Mr. Deeds" was on cable, and I enjoyed it. Especially John Turturro's character. "I'm very sneaky, sir."

Ahh yes another guilty pleasure of mine. And don't forget Robert Z'Dar of Future War/Soultaker fame also.
Robert Z'Dar: "This pig broke my F-in jaw." Kurt Russell: "You broke THAT jaw?!"
This movie has some really good interaction between Stallone and Russell...I enjoyed it

I never found Sandler that annoying, to be honest. He's not a comic genius, that's for certain, but I find that there are usually two groups of people on this world, those who love him and those who hate him. I loathed Big Daddy, but I'll admit that I can sit through Happy Gilmore, the Waterboy, Anger Management, and even Little Nicky.

I liked "Beastmaster" with Marc Singer as a teen....I wonder how it would hold up? They just came out with a anniversary DVD for that...all of the reviews I've read have been positive.

Beastmaster was good, but I prefered Beastmaster II: Through the portal of time. But getting back to Davidbeegah. When I was really young I used to look through my dad's movie guides and one had this picture of a girl who I thought was incredibly beautiful leaning up against a wall with one leg up, and it said the picture was for the movie Angel. I've been in love with that picture ever since. Never seen the movie though. is it any good?

Like I said above I had a real crush on this girl growing up. She was also in Jaws 2. I am not sure if she was eaten by the great white or not.

I was watching "The Wizard of Oz" last night with my youngest daughter and it reminded of a guilty pleasure movie that I have not seen in a loooong time. As a matter of fact I don't even know if you can get this movie.
Does anyone remember a movie called "Under the Rainbow" with Chevy Chase? He plays a government agent (I think) who is hunting a Nazi spy......The spy happens to be a "little person"....and all this is taking place as casting for the Munchkins in the "The Wizard of Oz" is going on. Made in the 80's sometime (could IMDB it but I am lazy). Not a great movie but it made me laugh.

Does anyone remember a movie called "Under the Rainbow" with Chevy Chase? I remember that movie. I remember a lot of the surviving Munchkin actors being upset about how they were portrayed. Anyway, looks like it was out on VHS once but no more. I didn't think that much of it. Carrie Fisher seemed to be phoning it in (her "Postcards From the Edge" years?).

I remember Under The Rainbow... It was one of those marginal movies that seemed to be in heavy, heavy rotation on HBO during the early/mid 80s. Probably because it was such a flop that it didn't cost HBO much to broadcast. Anyways, it featured a nice scene of a young Carrie Fisher in her fine washables... so you won't hear me complaining. As a 10 year old Star Wars nut, I was in heaven everytime this was on...
