Ang Lee's "The Hulk."
Wow, this is beyond stupid. It makes the cheesy 70s TV show look positively profound (at least Bill Bixby turned in a good performance--what's Eric Blanda's excuse?). It's worse than those bad Hulk reunion movies they did in the 80s with Thor, Daredevil, etc.
Dumb storyline. Characters you don't care about (I think Nick Nolte's trying to do a Brando, but he still looks and sounds like strung-out, old raspy Nick Nolte LOL). Some of the worst special effects I've ever seen.
Generally a disgrace to the comic book and television series I loved when I was a kid.
This would have been a MST3K classic.

Fahrenheit 9/11, mostly I am pissed at my Dad for taking me to that! I see him once a year if I'm lucky and he INSISTS on wasting time watching this one-sided piece of mierda. This wasn't my favorite either. The Michael Moore film I did like, however, was "The Big One." It's all about Corporate America and how successful companies move jobs overseas or to Mexico to make even bigger profits (by paying the local slave labor peanuts). It made me angry--in a good way.

Anaconda was on tv tonight. At first I laughed, but then after a while I started to think, "Come on now, enough is enough." I guess I was more frustrated than angry that the director seemed intent on directing every scene like this: "Lights...camera....and suck!"
But what has made me get up and leave the room? Hm....Saved. With Mandy Moore. That made me angry. The only idea the filmmakers have of Christians is what they see in other non-Christian movies. I got sick of the bigoted stereotypes, and it bothered me worse that it was directed at younger people. Like teenagers need any more help in forming stereotypical opinions.
What else? Hm....How to Make an American Quilt. 1995, starring Winona Ryder. I don't remember it very well except that it made me angry for its worldview, and that they attempted to make old women look young in certain scenes by covering them in makeup, but every time they moved, their chests would break out into billions of wrinkles. Lame.
Oh, and The Deer Hunter. I want to watch this movie all the way through so bad, but I just can't. Two times I have tried and failed. Supposedly it is real good, but I always give up after about 7 hours of watching people dance at a wedding.

I saw a Christmas movie with a title like "Family Stone" or something... It made me get pissed off at anyone who has a family -- probably 99% of the population. Once the credits started rolling, I stood up and proclaimed I was very glad I didn't have family, because families suck. People looked at me funny and I went home to take a nap.
Wow.
So much damn arguing and drama, how do people raise children in those environments? Moms + Dads = Children who grow up to be criminals. Just have one parent raise the kid one way, or else have the kid get raised by different families with no longer than 6 months spent with one set of parents. That way, the kid either believes what the one parent believes and keeps that opinion, or else the kid sees everything with no bias and can develop unique opinions.
Having two parents all the time will consistently make things look black, white, and grey. The parents agree on some things and disagree on others. Think of the kid's future. There is a chance both parents don't even have a clue what is really going on in the world, so the only two sides the kid sees are skewed out of reality. I know I am not good at explaining things, but I suppose two sides to a reply to my post here could consist of A) "Shade, stfu you aren't making and sense" or B) "Well I suppose we can blame Bush for this one, too" -- All right I have to get back to work. I hope my ranting was able to brighten someone's day!

Waking Life was difficult to stay awake for. It looked interesting for the animation if nothing else, but it was as dull as reading the dictionary...worse, actually.

Shade, just remember, good families don't make for good movies.
But there are a lot of us out there.

Oh. I had to read that a few times before I understood it, but I suppose that makes sense... Sorry for the rant, I just had to let some things out. My health insurance ran out a few months back and I haven't been able to see my psychiatrist.

There has only been one time I've walked out of a theater feeling like I was ripped off, and that was after seeing Kung Pow. What a f'ing waste. I'll add to that anything that has Rob Schneider in it.
