I don't know why, but Mitchell's always gets me down. I can get passioned and debate in other threads without a lot of emotional attachment, at least to the point where I'm bummed.
But our movie debates...
It's probably because I see a flick, am moved and want to share the experience and then -Hikebah!- someone spits in my popcorn!
For whatever reason, Mitchell's is a house of despair. lol

I know just what you mean, MJ. I usually avoid movie reviews and criticism because if I like a movie, I don't want my experience of it to be tainted by someone else's opinion. If I haven't seen it and it looks decent, I don't want to read a review before seeing it. It's all right if the movie is clearly awful and someone rips it apart thoughtfully and humorously.
I can only take a little bit of Mitchell's Movies at a time. It's never fun to see something you love get ripped on, and in movie debates I have too much emotional attachment to the subject. I can debate with the best of them, but it takes a lot out of me, and I don't really enjoy it.
It is quite rare for me to share my thoughts and feelings on a movie I love. But in you I feel there is a kindred spirit, and I could share my opinion with you any time.

Sorry, I just thought the movie was boring. That's my personal feelings toward this movie.

Count me in as a P & P lover. But my heart really belongs to Colin Firth in the BBC version. Really glad this came out. I think young women these days need to see just how far the world has come now that a woman's options are much more than trying to find money to marry!

I saw this yesterday with my Mom, who really wanted to see it. It was okay, I guess. I mean, I didn't fall asleep in it, or anything, but well, it was okay.
