Sorry, didn't realize there was an issue here, Nerdie.
I'm never sure whether or not I should include "Spinal Tap" with the other three. I mean, it had lots of the same people in it, but not nearly as many of the same as the others to each other.

Sorry, didn't realize there was an issue here, Nerdie. Don't apologize to her. It's her problem that she needs to grow out of. Maybe if she watched it again, she'd "get it" this time.

Maybe. I know that it took me twice before I totally understood Buckaroo Banzai.

they're all great, but Tap is special.
"Not to worry, Boston isn't really much of a college town."
But the best musical is South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.

Meh. South Park's music's never really been too memorable for me.

Sounds awesome. I hope this one is a little more biting than A Mighty Wind. I got the feeling that A Mighty Wind portrayed people with whom Guest and co. might be a little more familar (than say, heavy metal artists or dog show affcianados), thus the characters were treated a little more sympathetically. I'm worried that if this movie is about actors there will be a similar tendency.

Another note on For Your Consideration is that it will also star Ricky Gervais of The Office fame.

The commentary track for This is Spinal Tap DVD is as funny as the movie because they do the whole thing in character.

Except there the word was "Broadway" instead of "Oscar."
