It was great. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time, but then I'm a sucker for British comedy.

Shaun of the Dead is great. Ed (I think that's his name... y'know the fat guy) cracks me up every time I watch it.
That movie made me want to go out and buy a cricket bat. Just to whack things with it.

I finished it. It was indeed great. However, I was surprised at the fact that a number of the main characters, including audience-sympathetic ones, are killed off. In particular, part of the scene in the bar seemed surprisingly dark compared to the rest of the film.

Oh, and yes, I thought Ed was hilarious. I was not at all surprised to see that the actors who played Shaun and Ed are real-life best friends (according to imdb), I thought they played very well off of each other.

Yeah, The whole thing with Shaun's mom surprised me a lot. She got creepy when she became a 'zed-word.'

Yeah I loved this movie. I, like others, thought that the movie maybe went a little to far to the serious side at the end but still....Cool flick

I love it. I'm not a big british comedy fan, but this movie is just flat out hilarious whether you're a british comedy fan or not. Favorite part: "GET flapjacksED FOUR EYES!". I thought it was funny that the guy who plays Shaun's father in the film was a badass vampire in Underworld. I just saw Underworld for the first time last night and it was bugging me where I knew the guy. I got on IMDB after the film was done and sure enough he played Phillip in Shaun Of The Dead!

Great movie but tough British accents.

Seen it and own the DVD. One of the best of 2004 and best zombie movie ever made.

It was okay, certainly not a favorite of mine though.

"Did you know... on several occasions... he touched me." (beat) "Not true. Made it up. Shouldn't have. Sorry."
(panicked) "Mum, have you been bitten?!" "No, but Philip has." (calm) "Oh, OK."

"Did you know... on several occasions... he touched me." (beat) "Not true. Made it up. Shouldn't have. Sorry." That is absolutely one of the funniest scenes in the film. Gets me every time.
