This is a question for anyone who bought this set (one of many 50 movie sets from Mill Creek Entertainment).
Disc one in the first set I bought wouldn't play the movie "deadtime stories" so I returned it in exchange for another copy, and that one didn't work either. I had to call the company (who painlessly offered to send me another disc one, right away).
So, has anyone had a problem with this set? I have some of their other sets, and had no trouble at all.

I've never seen anyone mention that particular set on the board....only the Horror set. Because it has quite a few of the MSTied movies.
Never heard anyone saying they had trouble with discs not playing. Only that the movies aren't the best copies.
BTW, what's that War of the Robots movie like?

I haven't seen that one yet.... there's a bunch of mini-reviews of the 8 I have watched on my myspace.com blog (link's in my sig). There are two MST3K movies on there. Track of the Moon Beast and Horrors of Spider Island. I called the company and they sent me a replacement disc 1 (my third copy of it) and that one wouldn't even get past the FBI warning, and my DVD player wouldn't even eject it without me restarting the machine. I even tried it on my Playstation

That's some back luck, bro. I have the 20-pack of Sci-Fi films, so far, of the four I've watched, two have the movie's title misspelled on the DVD menu.

I am still trying to buy that Chilling set but the good thing for me is that if or when I do get the opportunity to do my own MST3k show a lot of the movies on the Horror, Sci-Fi, Chilling, and Drive-In set have movies that could last the show about a good four or more seasons.
