Back in college someone showed me a movie called "Greaser's Palace." Definitely a WTF? film. LOL Greaser's Palace, if I am not mistaken, is a Robert Downey SENIOR film. He made some really far-out stuff: Chaffed Elbows; Putney Swope; Pound. I was a fan of his. If you see his films, you'll understand that it's no wonder his son has problems.

I am looking at crazy film as a frenetic comedy. "Brain Donors" to me fits that bill. It is a modern remake of a Marx brothers film, and the dialogue and energy of the film lead to a crazy comedy. To me, at least.

Yeah, I was gonna say Santa Sangre, but you guys beat me to it. I didn't think House of 1000 Corpses was that crazy, but then I'm not the best judge because I'm ultra-jaded. I did like it, though, as well as The Devil's Rejects. They were amusing.

I read a book of interview and you could see that when he was doing Fando Lis, El Topo and Holy Mountain, he was just out there. When he did el Topo he wasn't as hippie nuts. hahaha I watched Fando & Lis on shrooms

I bought Fando & Lis on DVD solely on the basis of its history. It caused a riot at its premier at the Mexico City Film Festival and the director had to flee for his life! Any film that has that kind of impact on the audience is one I've GOT to have!

The craziest movie is Godzilla Final Wars. Seriously, everything about that movie is crazy. Is it as wacky as Destroy All Monsters?
