Has anyone seen this cult film?
It's a weird buddy flick with Crispin Glover and Howard Hessman (WKRP's Dr. Johnny Fever) as a couple of hopeless losers whose adventures include burying a dead cat in the desert and attending a real estate seminar.
Glover plays his usual oddball role (this arguably the oddest of them all), and Hessman really shines as the pathetically desperate salesman and henpecked ex-husband.
The film takes some very weird turns, but there are several very funny bits and lines. Recommended.

I've heard of and read about this movie for quite some time, and I'd give anything to finally see it! Sadly, it's been long out of print on video and has yet to be resurrected on DVD. I love oddball buddy films, and this one looks like it tops all of them.

Here's a site where you can get a copy, Gesture Professor. www.echocave.net/rubin_ed.htmlI think these may be sold by the director himself (Trent Harris). Some of my fave lines from the film: Ed (Howard Hessman) walking through the desert: "Boy, it sure is el warmo today...". Rubin: "My cat can eat a whole watermellon." Seminar Guy: "Who's the biggest loser in this room?" Rubin: "Raise your hand, Ed!"
