I am a huge Lucio Fulci fan and wondered if there any other people on this board who are into the master of zombi films (Yes Romero is close but i think Fulci takes the edge).
If anyone doesn't know any of his films his big ones are these:
Zombi (AKA Zombi 2, Zombie Flesh Eaters) City of the Living Dead (AKA The Gates of Hell) The Beyond House by the Cemetary

I've only seen "Zombie," but it's great! Zombie vs. Shark scene is awesome!

The Beyond is the closest thing to a filmed nightmare, next to Lynch's Eraserhead, ever done.
I've quite a Fulci wing in my library. Ditto Bava.

ME ME ME!!! I love Zombi and House by the Cemetery particularly, and of course The Beyond is great too. I have most of them on DVD, except for some of the more obscure ones like Don't Torture a Duckling, which I only have on old VHS.

I have quite a bit of his films some rare and some not so rare. The rarest one i have is probably The Devil's Honey which was never released here. My friend has a copy of it and let me record it with my recorder.
My favorite of all his films is still The Gates of Hell. The score on that film is incredible as well as the atmosphere and the gore.
You guys should check out Thge New Gladiators and Conquest. They are bad movies but are so entertaining to watch. COnquest is a sword and sorcery picture that looks like it was filmed with a fog lense over the camrea the whole time lol. The new Gladiators is a future movie that has bikers killing eachother in a dome like a contest to see who comes out alive. It also stars Al Cliver from Zombie and most of Fulci's other films.

I love Zombi and especially The Beyond. By the way Emperor Cupcake, Don't Torture A Duckling is available on DVD, or it was, because I picked it up at Suncoast, but to be honest, that was awhile ago.

Yeah, it seems to me that a bunch of his movies are getting released in two-DVD sets -- I have a couple of them, though I'll be damned if I can remember what's on them. I know one has New York Ripper. And I keep seeing Conquest in Best Buy, but I haven't bought it yet. And yep, I've got The Devil's Honey, and The Washing Machine, and Demonia, and Lizard in a Woman's Skin, and a DVD of House of Clocks, which is really an underrated one in my opinion. Oh, and there's one called The Psychic -- it's not very gory, but I thought it was a pretty good movie, plotwise -- I found this VHS copy in a bargain bin in Wal-Mart or something. I think it's the American cut of Murder to the Tune of Seven Black Notes.

There are still a lot of films that haven't made it to DVD yet. Most of his bigger gore films found their way to DVD but some of his not so well known stuff (such as The Psychic) haven't been released on dvd yet as well as his early comedies.
His gangster movie called Contraband is really cool as well. It was released by Blue Underground so the transfer is beautiful.

Zombie vs. Shark scene is awesome! Indeed! That was awesome. I went to a special screening of The Beyond some years ago, and got a commemorative eyeball with my ticket. ;D

I can't believe Zombie is out of print already. It's still VERY reasonable on Ebay.
