I've never watched the show, Doc. Friends of mine love it, but I have to point out they also liked the Will Smith I, Robot.

Just a quick insight: You don't have to be sick in the head to make a sick movie. All my convention going, I've met Mr. Gordon a few times. He's just a nice down to earth guy who knows how to make flapjacksed up movies.
The premise is good, but your going to have your hits and misses. Each director has hits and misses. That, and my problem is, Roger Corman has gotten to weak to really direct a film, even though he was in fact slated for the first season.
Directors I want to see: James Gunn (writer Dawn of the Dead remake, writer/director SLiTHER), Mark Borschardt (Sure, he's only made one short film, and he's been in production on his feature for three years now. But still. Master of Horror should try to market more to the indy crowd. I think the man who was the subject of the documentary American Movie would be perfect).
Really can't recommend any episodes, since I did find With House to be at least interesting.

He started in Chicago and founded the Organic Theatre. Was responsible for the sci-fi stage epic, "Warp" which author John Ostrander turned into a successful comic book. I like Gordon a lot.

You know, I can really see Stuart Gordon doing a stage version of Re Animator. When he was trying to make Re-Animator, his colleagues criticized him for doing a "horror" film and not an art film.
Seriously, if you are lucky enough to be at a con with him, or if you have already been, you can really talk to this guy for hours.
But back the point about Masters of Horror, who would everyone like to see directing for Masters of Horror?

But back the point about Masters of Horror, who would everyone like to see directing for Masters of Horror? Alexandre Aja. I've loved both films he's done so far (The flawed but still will done High Tension, and of course The Hills Have Eyes remake which I thought was fantastic) and I have a feeling he'd do something good on this type of show. I actually haven't seen this show yet, but I am planning on buying "Cigarette Burns" in the near future because I love John Carpenter. I also think it's an excellent idea for a TV show. Too bad I don't have Showtime...

Dr. Tony:
The Joe Dante episode is awesome. It's about dead soldiers killed in Iraq coming back to life when their bodies are shipped to America. The reason they come back to life is for one reason, they want to vote. It's got a really cool political message.
The Dario Argento ep is decent, a lot better than his last few films. Another fav is the Don Coscarelli episode. That ep kicked ass and it had Angus Scrimm in it not as a villian but a victim. He steals the showbut the episode is about a woman who crashees her car on a mountain road and then starts to get hunted by some freaky lookin tall dude. There is a sub plot to it that makes the episode really cool.

I remember seeing one of the episodes. It was about a woman with a horribly disfigured face but a great body. She kept seducing people and them killing them, I think.

Yeah that was the Argento Ep.
There was another one that was like a horror comedy that had Misty Mundae in it and that was pretty funny but i can't remember who directed it.

I saw the Argento...so so.
Also saw the one with the two serial killers fighting each other. Though it had a nice sick set up but the last part was disappointing. I thought they took the premise nowhere. Maybe the others are better.
