$1.99 is not worth a short.
Plus where would we find widespread copies of shorts? Come on!

I'd love to see a few shorts especially more of the 50s educational shorts, but it would be hard to get a copy of them I'd imagine unles rhino released a dvd then they might as well just place the commentarty on to the disc.

$1.99 is not worth a short. Do several for that price. Archive.orgI'd love to see this one done by Mike and Bridget, for a change. Just these two - Boys Beware and Girls Beware - are so sad and pathetic you have to laugh. Or there are DVDs available. However if they're going to do a set of shorts, why not just do their own DVD?

It's impractical to do shorts for Rifftrax, but it would be much easier for Mike to just do a commentary for a DVD of public domain shorts. Not everyone would be able to access the films, if it were done for Rifftrax.

It wouldn't be hard to do some Warner Bros cartoon shorts as they're easily available, but I don't see how they're riffable.

In my mind the whole point of doing this is so he can riff films he would never be able to get the rights to do. That and how are we going to get copies of obscure shorts? Nah, I think Mike should just leave the shorts in the past with MST3K, and continue doing what he's doing with this Rifftrax thing.

Episodes from TV shows, I could kind of see. $0.99 for Mike ripping "Spock's Brain" a new one? I'd be there.

TV shows is a great idea, though DVD sets of TV shows run a bit on the expensive side...
I'd love to see some Lifetime TV Movies get done. CYBER SEDUCTION

I wouldn't pay for RiffTrax shorts.
However, I might be willing to part with three or four bucks if Mike were willing to riff an entire set of serial shorts.
I own the entire original Commando Cody series on VHS, and I'd just *love* to hear what Mike has to say about the episodes that they were never able to do on MST3K.
