Ok, here it is as promised...a small (1m 15sec) clip from Road House with RiffTrax mixed in. The purpose of this clip is to get you "hooked" on it so you will want to purchase your own copy of RiffTrax so Mike and Legend will keep going with this awesome project. The following clip also has the "Disembaudio", which you will hear as a wierd little computerized voice. Disembaudio says a line from the movie every so often so you know if you are in sync or not. The line in this clip is: "Names Dalton Right?" and it is almost perfectly in sync (or close enough for Mikes riffing to be dead on). So I hope you enjoy it and I hope RiffTrax keeps going!!! RiffTrax - Road HouseQuestion for Admins. If RiffTrax takes off, do you think there should be a new section to the Discussion Board for RiffTrax?? Thanks, gammer73

ok that was good. MAYBE unrelated but i don't think so, the only Legend Films I got with Mikes commentary was Reafer Madness, and though his comments were good, for the most part to me they seemed more spread out and not as funny as his work on MST.
Were the other 2 Mike commentaries similar, or were they more like RiffTrax which, well right in the name clearly states "riffing" the tracks. This clip reminded me a LOT of MST3K, but just Mike.

I'm not sure about Mike's other commentaries on the Legends DVD's. I've never seen them. I would like to purchase plan 9 though...
You are correct about this being like the MST3K riffing. The riffing in this was extremely funny and there was lots of it...not alot of 'dead air'. Definitly was done in the spirit that MST3K was done.

If the clip is any indication, Mike needs another guy in there with him. I'm looking at you Kevin Murphy!

I dont know...he's pretty funny by himself...as you can see from several posts in other threads. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love it if Kevin and/or Bill will join Mike on some of these

You can probably bet on that happening.

If the clip is any indication, Mike needs another guy in there with him. I'm looking at you Kevin Murphy! I watched it yesterday. I just want to say how wrong the above statment is, mike is pretty damn funny on his own, and any additions will just be icing on a very delicious cake. I'd still ike to see Kevin Murphy in on this. Hell, that Corbet fellow too.

I bought "Plan Nine" recently, and his commentary is also slightly spread-out, but the thing about the film is the dialogue is so completely nuts that it'd be a shame to talk over it.
I know I'm naught but a noob here, but I like the idea of a "RiffTrax / Legend Films" subfolder. It'd alert the casual visitor here that good new things were happening and carrying on in the spirit of MST3K. I'd put the show as the spiritual forefather of DVD commentaries in general and this new venture from Mike is carrying it on in fun fashion.
