Also, the ReadMe file only has Disembaudio's time syncs for the google download "with timing breakdown of the free video available at Google Video:" video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8162994492026870322I guess its not that big of a deal, but it would have been nice to have one of the DVD's time codes to sync it with.

I hope these Rifftrax Classic downloads aren't taking the place of new rifftrax for the next couple of weeks. I hope we see a new Rifftrax soon. I wish they would annouce ahead of time when they are going to post the new ones.

How far apart were Road House and Fifth Element, anyway?

I would anticipate 1 per month...on average.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect new Rifftrax to come out too close together. How far apart were Road House and Fifth Element, anyway? I bought Road House on 07/21 which was maybe 2-3 days after the site launched. Which would have put it on Tuesday the 18th. Then on Aug 1st I bought 5th Element which was the day it was posted (also a Tuesday). One of the interviews with Mike about Rifftrax that I read recently, mentioned a new track every couple weeks. But within a week of Roadhouse going up there was a coming soon for Fifth Element. I was just hoping that the Classics were not taking the place of new ones for the next couple of weeks. --Ian

I think it's a bad move to say they'll release them that close together. I just don't see them holding to that schedule for long.

I think it's a bad move to say they'll release them that close together. I just don't see them holding to that schedule for long. Well, Mike DID move his family to San Francisco for this Legend Films gig - if we don't see one every few weeks, then what'd he pull up stakes for? Plus, one every two weeks is just 26 a year, which is not much more than one of the beefy seasons of MST3K, and they don't have to pay for anything but Mike's paycheck and the rifftrax website. Anyway, there was like a 10 day difference between Road House and Fifth Element, and it's been over two weeks now since Fifth Element, so yeah, I think Rifftrax classics are supposed to hold us over. Plan 9 was sometime last week, and NOTLD this week. I'd bet we get Reefer Madness next week and then finally a new Rifftrax a week or two after that (though I really hope we get one sooner). Hopefully, they'll save the other three "classics" for just such a period down the road where they need a few extra weeks. Also, if other people get involved, there'd be no reason that Kevin Murphy or somebody couldn't do a few in a row while Mike is on vacation or something (though I'd bet they do a bunch of them together and then release then pace their releases so if Mike didn't do it one week, they wouldn't be behind).

Well maybe the delay is so Mike can get together with Bill and Kevin to get some rifftrax recorded. I call it a "delay" when in fact i would be happy with about 1 a month. If they can squeeze in 2 new ones a month that would be even better.
