From Bridget and MJ - I enjoyed The Amazing Mr. X and She

Time Chasers (w/Chimp The Fireman)- This one was hilarious, I think I like it better than the MST episode. Mike, Kevin, and Bill were on fire throughout the feature, and I liked the bizarre chimp short as well.

Invasion of the Animal People - this is like an old-School MST3K episode. In that you have a painfully bad B&W movie, hit with loads of funny reference style-riffing. Watch it with a short to add to the MST3K vibe and you got Heaven (wrapped in hell)
Oh and in this day and age would it be wrong to mention that Barbara Wilson is really, really pretty? Because she's really, really pretty.

Grey’s Anatomy w/ Mike and Bridget - I hate Grey’s Anatomy so I loved this riffing. Mike and Bridget seem to be having fun, and their riffs are awesome.

I've now watched both versions of Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny, the live and non-live ones. After hearing about this movie on here about how it was one of the worst movies ever made, I went in with very high expectations. And boy, did it deliver! The first one (with Thumbelina) is the one I watched first and oh my god, some of the riffs made me laugh so hard I had to pause the movie because I had trouble breathing. I watched the live one (with Jack and the Beanstalk) and the added live element really helped. I can't decide which I like more, they're both hilarious.
"Nothing's working...nothing!" "INCLUDING SANTA!" is the line that made me pause the movie because I was laughing so hard. Also, Bill's HURR HURR HURRRRRR is just too perfect. I definitely need to explore Rifftrax offerings more but these two were like gold standard for me.

Finished the live version of "Jack the Giant Killer". My thoughts, such as they are, are noted in the "Kmorgan's Selections" thread on the main MST3K page. It was fair, I guess. I do have a question for any fellow film buffs: on the DVD section with the pre-show title cards (that's why I always get the DVD of the live shows, if possible), I'm pretty sure the music isn't from "Jack the Giant Killer". Unless I'm mistaken, it's the theme from the generally good World War II movie "The Bridge at Remagen", starring George Segal, Ben "Brad Wesley" Gazzara, and Robert "Teenage Caveman" Vaughn.
Just something I noticed...

Every year around Thanksgiving I watch Fun in Balloon Land. Even though I've seen it a few times now, I'm still laughing hard from start to finish. It just never get's old, a true classic.

The Casey Kasem line from Mike from The Hunger Games has been on my mind a lot lately. It's given me much delight.

I watched Miami Connection live. The Measuring Man short was an instant classic. The movie was so dull and actually too good. None of the riffs really made fun of the film, which makes sense as there was nothing to make fun of. It seemed like the guys like the flick. It felt like they were hosting this one more than riffing it. While I'm sure that works for some, for me this was easily the worst effort from RT I've seen. When it was the 80s, we were inundated with these low budget action flicks constantly. This one is nothing special. While as this one is somewhat unique, it's so boring that it's torturous. I was expecting cheesy action, not Birdemic lol. At least they didn't attack it, as it was just a demo reel for a Martial Artist.

Funny, I thought Miami Connection was hilariously bad -- on the level of Samurai Cop, even, which is another fun bad movie that the RiffTrax crew riffed. But Miami Connection definitely was dull at times; the first fifteen or twenty minutes feels like an extended music video. There's very little going on besides mind-numbing rock music and occasional action. Still, it's a classic in my books.

I watched the Gumby movie and it was decent, not the greatest effort, but there were laughs and I had fun with the flick (I liked Gumby as a kid). It was much better than the last few I picked up with MK&B, I still haven't been able to finish Fungicide or Maximum Revenge, yuk.

Batman vs Superman Oof, it's not a good thing when the bad movie is better than your riffing. This all-star Rifftrax was a major letdown. Mike, Kevin, and Bill were blah, Conner, and Sean just sound like they're doing MK&B material, but with crappier delivery.
Matthew and Ian were an improvement, by a smidge - Cole and Janet were fair, but it's not their finest work.
So I'm about ready to quit on this when Bridget and Mary Jo step up for their turn and actually get the first big laughs out of me. Thank you, ladies, for 20 minutes it felt like I didn't completely waste my time and $$
Next - Frank and Trace, who are, surprisingly, the worst of all. I don't think they wanted to riff on this flick, and were just phoning it in. (though to be fair, they got saddled with an extended fight sequence and seemed at a loss as to what to do with it)
MK&B return and m'eh, lots of low brow schoolboy stuff.
Major disappointment.

Lucky Day - from Bridget and Mary Jo, I like their new logo (pictured above), cute work from the ladies.
