I bought a VHS copy of this of eBay this summer for my son, he collects all things Star Wars( It came with a free copy of the Fantastic Four the early 90's version, talk about a bad movie combination). I was watching it and forgot why I hated this so. I did riff it so that was fun, I just wished that MST3K had gotten hold of this it would have been a riot, no question.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I dug it out last night for an orgy of Christmas Special watching and was not disappointed!
Oh my god, what a funny Rifftrax. This one has to be one of Mike Nelson's sterling achievements in the annals of Rifftrax! It is just so unbelievably savage and dark. Just the antithesis needed for the mounting holiday sweetness and light! I enjoyed it with my hot cup of gluhwine and Christmas cookies. I laughed just as hard and long as I did the first time I saw it.
Thank you Rifftrax and Mike for making my holiday brighter by pummeling a defenseless, badly crafted and goofy Christmas Special into the ground. Joy to the World!

I've been thinking of this lately too. I agree completely - this is still one of the top Rifftrax's ever, and completely stands up to MST3k. Somehow it just feels Christmas-y, too, just like the two Santa episodes of the show.

I'm glad you bumped it, DoctorZ. I think I'll have my wife watch it with me. She has been wanting us to watch some christmas shows.

Loved Nestor. Think I'll watch all the Xmas specials over the holiday!

I watched Nestor again last night alone. My wife was too busy and my daughter said it was lame. Too bad they don't know good stuff when thee see it. Same with MST.

She's interested in watching Nestor at some point soon since it's Christmastime. Slowly but surely...

My wife actually enjoys Rifftrax much more than MST. She says that with Rifftrax, at least it might be a movie she'd watch otherwise.
