I honestly thought it wasnt *that* funny. NOTLD is more commentary then riffing...to me, anyways.
The new rifftrax stuff is WAY funnier then the commentary on NOTLD.
Just my 2 cents...

i dont own any of the movies (last time i looked) that they did so didnt buy any I know what you mean. I have a huge (must be about a hundred dollars worth by now) late fee at Blockbusters, and that's why I didn't invest in Riff-trax until fairly recently. Plus I wasn't sure if I could get Riff-trax to work right (I'm extremely computer illiterate) or that it would even be funny if it did work on my computer. The website www.movielink.com gave me the courage to try Riff-trax. You can download and rent many (but not all) of the Riff-trax movies there. They tend to be about four bucks which is a bit pricey for a one-day rental, but hey, at least you don't have to worry about late fees or finding the time to return them. I'm suprised at how few Misties post here as compared to the rest of the board. I'm sure if they knew how easy, convient and fun Riff-trax was, we'd have more converts. I admit I almost exclusively watch Riff-trax now instead of the old Mst3k shows. Though of course I love Mst3k and always will. I'm currently sufferring from New-found love (You know those intense obsesive feelings when you first meet that special person or in this case a website?) I am at heart a Mistie but I sure do love Riff-Trax!!!

I know what you mean. I was on a big MST3K binge earlier this year, but once they started Rifftrax and they keep releasing them so fast I havn't had time to watch any episodes. Since I go all the way with making y own DVDs and covers and whatnot I just don't have the time.

As far as NOTLD goes, I just bought the Legend DVD in Deepdiscountdvd.com's big sale. It just arrived today. I wasn't sure about buying it, b/c I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on it, but finally decided to go ahead. I'll let you know what I think as soon as I give it a whirl.
