On Mike's latest blog he wrote: I Bring My Heart to San Francisco To paraquote Hank Williams, Jr., "Are you ready for some RiffTrax!?" If you're not ready, and I'm not blaming you at all if you're just not ready to step up to the plate RiffTrax-readiness-wise, then please stay away from San Francisco on January 16th and 17th because Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett and I will be doing two live RiffTrax shows as part of the San Francisco Sketch Comedy Festival. What is RiffTrax Live, you ask? (If you didn't ask, please do so now so that this will make sense.) We'll, it's Kevin, Bill and me doing what we do best, sweeping floors, cleaning bathroom stalls and then, time permitting, sitting in the front row, riffing on a movie live. Hope to see you there." Wow!! i cant wait. Anyone else planning to go? Here's the link to the websitef or the Sketch Comedy Festival: sfsketchfest.com/

Nor can I, unless someone who lives in the midwest cares to charter a plane and invite me along. (Hint, hint!)
Failing that, I hope they tape this, and offer it as a download or dvd for sell. I bet there would be plenty of takers.

No way I can make it either. This is terrible. I wish I never heard of this.

Gammer, they love you over at the Rifftrax forums. Tell them to film it and sell the DVD on Mike's website! Please please please! And link the post you do it in. I'll go over and say what a great idea you've had. We all will!

Well that just suffers from all the same issues as selling rifftrax on dvd with the movies in the first place. If they aren't doing a film that is up for release on www.thefilmcrewonline.com eventually, then perhaps it might become one later, or even a triple riffer rifftrax.

Wow ...I feel the same way I did when Chicago News announced that a Kids in the Hall were going to perform in Naperville (Naperville of all places) and I couldn't go because I was laid up in the hospital for two weeks getting ready to give birth. Little Jackie has such terrible timing ...sigh I agree that delivering a taped 'live' session is a good idea. Can you pull some strings Gammer73?

I wonder if it'll be improv or from a script.
(Good taste, Jackie. I love KITH.)

Unless somebody sneaks a digital movie camera in there and illegally tapes the show, those of us who won't be able to go will just have to deal with whatever scraps of information we can glean off the Internet. Pain Frank, forceps!

By the lords of bad movies, someone sneak a camera in there! Or let me win the lottery so I can fly over!

Some people on the RiffTrax forum are curious as to the movie they are going to riff live. RiffTrax mentioned that it is going to be a newer movie, but I wonder how they got the rights to it? Will they record this event and sell it online?...or will they at least offer the rifftrax for this live movie, so the rest of the fans can watch it? One of our board members, MrTorso, is attending one of the days. I hope he posts here about his experience.

Yeah I am going to the 17th show in San Francisco. A nice 13 hour or so drive too! We are leaving at 10pm on the 16th (after work) and hauling to SF. My friend and I have agreed to split any speeding tickets we get and we are gonna try to get there in 10 hours. I am taking my cameras but I doubt they will let me film during the show. I also don't want to worry about a camera and just enjoy the show. I stopped taping at the last convention for that reason. I was constantly holding a camera in front of my face and not enjoying the spectacle.
