Awesome. Very interested to see this one. I mean, it's Aeon Flux after all.

I'm thankful that they didn't try to photoshop Mike or Kevin onto Charlize Theron's body. Very thankful.

It's an appalling film. Badly thought out, shot full of plot holes, stupid and weak on a bunch of levels. Still about a million times better than "Ultraviolet" though.

I haven't seen this one before, I might have a go sans-rifftrax.

I'm thankful that they didn't try to photoshop Mike or Kevin onto Charlize Theron's body. Very thankful. Replace "thankful" with "disappointed" and I'm right there with ya. I just want to be able to look at Charlize Theron and not suddenly see, in my mind, Mike or Kevin mugging for the camera. The effects could be traumatic. Seeing Kevin in drag did enough damage.

I guess you and I just have different kinks. The effects could be traumatic. Seeing Kevin in drag did enough damage. Are you saying that sort of thing Flux with your head? Sorry. Just remember this important comedy rule: head of bearded guy on sexy woman's body is ALWAYS funnier than that of clean-shaven guy.

Well, yes, if I absolutely had to choose, I would side with Kevin's head on her body. Mike's one of my comedy heroes and I'm not sure I want to confuse myself about him to that degree.
Wow, this is a weird conversation.

Ok well that wasn't that terrible. There seemed to be a huge 9 month hole in the middle of it though. Speaking as just a sci-fi movie though, not as an adaptation of another story.

The movie bears only a very superficial resemblance to the MTV series. I don't know why they even called it the same name.

Marketing I guess, like how Hardwired became I, Robot.
