I wonder if the people who liked LOST rifftrax, are folks who watch the show on a regular basis? I get the feeling that those who didn't like it, don't watch LOST. Probably. I also didn't much care for this one and yes I've never watched the show. In fact this will be the last time I buy a Rifftrax if I know what is being riffed is of a genre that I don't much care for. I detest mysteries, cop, crime and courtroom drama, hospital drama, femmie, and teenage angst shows so If Mike and Kevin choose to riff those in the future, mark mine NO SALE. Sorry but I am not going to be a completist for its own sake anymore. I can promise you I didn't crack a smile during this entire effort. It was painful to sit through and I'm done watching the un-watchable.

I don't think so. Not for me anyway. I believe in 'Phantom's Theorem' "You're enjoyment of an episode is linked directly to your enjoyment of the movie." All of my favorite episodes of MST3K follow this theorem pretty much down the line. On some level I have to enjoy the movie or no amount of Riffing is going to hold my interest and make me sit there and watch it. This doesn't mean the movie has to be all that good, it just has to have something to sustain my interest. For example Beverly Garland's performances and beauty is more than enough to keep my interest. A good monster and general goofiness are good enough. Sometimes the riffing is stellar and makes it worth sitting there, but every once in a while a movie has nothing at all to interest me. Firewall, Cocktail, Lost are all loser fics to me. I can't find anything in them to make me sit there and take it. After a while I'm not even listening to Mike or Kevin. I'm too pissed off and annoyed.
