Are you sure it's the 9th? There seems to be some confusion between J-Proof and Conor as to whether it's the 9th or the 11th.
Oh, and good. This movie deserves it.

They've already got the product page up on the main site, with a preview for the upcoming Rifftrax. That was pretty fast.

So... is this like 'Dragonheart'? Only, this time, written by a teenage male.

I haven't seen this before. Is it worth watching before-hand without rifftrax?

So... is this like 'Dragonheart'? Only, this time, written by a teenage male. So it's 'Dragonheart' with more boobies and less Sean Connery.

How about this: Written by a teenage, male Lord of the Rings fan. Getting the picture yet? It's like a D&Der's wet dream, only much less interesting. There is nothing redemptive about this film, whatsoever.

I'm sure it'll make a great Rifftrax, though. Fantasy flicks work really well, in my opinion.

My wife and I watched this a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure glad I didn't waste money to see it in the theater. I don't know what the problem was, the story, the casting...what? John Malkovich as an evil overlord? The only thing he's able to play is himself...a neurotic whiner. Ahem, well here it is and there we are. The CGI dragon is nice in a female, griffin sort of way. The feathers are an interesting touch. I couldn't follow the story line and got lost a lot. Maybe I should have read the book first. I think they tried to cram too much in too short a time. Anyway I'm watching it tonight W/Rifftrax so I'm stoked for a funny one.

I'm going to watch it with the riff, but I'm kinda nervous because most of the reviews from people who already read the book (like me) hated it.
