Cool, haven't seen this yet. It's been out on DVD for a while over here I think so I might watch it first since I've heard it's pretty good.
Fun fact: the lead guy's from my glorious (ahem) town of Paisley. Hopefully he gets ripped to shreds cos we hate it when locals become too big for their boots, ha!

I'm not so fond of the Trax being released at the same time as the DVD. It kinda messes up how I usually go about it. Working in a used entertainment store, I can usually get the riffed movies right away at low prices and with a discount to boot. Most of the movies are easy to find, though sometimes I have to wait a little until one wanders in (I'm still waiting for Grey's). So, with 300, I'm gonna have to wait for some time until I'll even see a copy and even then it'll be pretty expensive (even at our low low prices) 'cause it'll be a new release.
But, I suppose it is a good strategy for RiffTrax to be on top of the latest thing for some of the riffs. And I'm a patient guy. So . . . consider my complaints moot.

Well it's the first time, and it's not going to happen often, I think the opportunity was there, so they took it.

I just got my copy of 300 today (along with a copy of Hot Fuzz) and I'll probably be watching the Rifftrax tonight. I very much look forward to it!

Much as I want to see another rifftrax with all three guys on board, this one will have to be pretty darn good for me to consider watching.

Just saw it. It's pretty funny, but I think my liking of the movie really distracted my attention from the riffers. A lot of riffs were pretty good though, and Disembaudio was put to good use here (I was really wondering how they were going to handle that scene...). Overall it's a good Rifftrax with lots of laugh out loud moments.

I'm glad I watched this one before I watched it with the Rifftrax. I love that sword and sandal stuff and I thought this was right up there with the great B-movie Hercules (and sons) epics from the 60's. Bloody, violent and stereotypical. Ha! What fun.
I only listened to a half hour of the Rifftrax version before I went to bed, but solid laughs! This one makes up for the last two. I'm back on board! Great effort and having the three of them back together was worth the wait!

I actually rented this movie this week, but I'm going to return it without even considering downloading the RiffTrax.
It'll be a long time before I sit through this crap again, if at all.

No, just not a fan of pretentious garbage like 300. Didn't bother keeping it long enough for a download.

Did you make it through XXX and The Fifth Element? Surely 300 can't be much worse than those steaming turds.

I never turn off a movie. 300 was better than xXx, but it's been years since I watched the Fifth Element.
