There might be a leak over on the Official RiffTrax forum, that Spiderman is next with Bill guest riffing. No confirmation from the mods if this is true. Link to post click hereQuote from post here: Again, this might be a bunch of "hooey", if not, then its probably the first RiffTrax leak to date.

If you look back people have certainly guess correctly before. An incorrectly many many times. We will find out what kind of bird this guy has been talking to in a couple of days.

Spider-Man would be fun, seeing how it's one of my all time favorite movies (along with 2 and 3 for that matter), but I really wish they would do Hulk or any of the Burton/Schumacher Batmans. Those are begging for it.

They should do 3 first. Really. That one is INCREDIBLY riffable.

Spiderman works for me. Infinite opportunities. Of course I plan to buy them all forever. So whatever works OK for me too.

I'd love to see them do Spider-Man.
Raimi's direction is great, but Tobey has got to be the most milquetoast superhero ever. I no nothing of the comic, so maybe he got Peter Parker right. But he really came across as a little weenie.
The more I watch those films, the less I like Tobey's performance. I hope they give it to him good.

I no nothing of the comic, Don't mean to thread highjack, but HYPOCRITE! Sure it's not like catching him with there/their/they're, but no/know it's close enough for me.

Haha, usually when I do that one, it's just because my mind shuts off, not from a deep misunderstanding of grammar.
Anyway, I loved the first Spiderman movie when it came out, but I don't think it's aged nearly as well as the first. There are certainly cheesy parts to mock, but the overall tone by the end just seems a bit serious to riff on. My sister and I agreed that there was almost too much bad stuff happening to Peter to be a "fun" movie, and I'm wondering if that might affect the Rifftrax.

We're moving this weekend, and I'm barely sitting up straight after moving furniture and emptying boxes for the last 48 hours. Still, it's no excuse. I should have proofread. I am shamed. For the record, it's hypocrisy to have a separate standard for everyone else, but have no intention of meeting it yourself. However, it's not hypocrisy to have a standard that includes yourself, but then fail to meet it. Ergo, I'm not a hypocrite; I'm a failure. Wait, that's far worse...

According to this, Star Wars episode 3 is next: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px2oEKzvzxU&v2Doesn't mean Spiderman isn't going to be done, but Episode III is next. No indication of date or guest riffers.

and for the record, Tobey did get Peter down pretty well. I know no one cares, and I don't know why it so damned important that I try and make people understand this in either music or movie, but it isn't about wallowing. It's about relating. For a quiet, geeky kid who got picked on, in the 60s, reading Spiderman was a joy. Here was a superhero who was just like me. This wasn't a campy (TVs Batman) or invincible (Superman) comic book hero. This guy was real, he had real problems.
Life stunk but he never stopped striving to do what was right. There was something inspiring and hopeful in how he kept plugging away despite all the heartache and pain. Geeks like me, Stan Lee got us, he gave us our hero.
I know, that's damn silly. But it's that faithfulness to the core character that makes Spiderman a great movie and a movie that remains great to this day!
Still, they've riffed on great movies before, so I would still get a kick out of it if they did it.
