Forgive my inexperience. I'm not much of a techi. As a guy who's been a fan of MST3K it's become increasingly obvious that I'm gonna have to take advantage of rifftrax.
But I've never had an MP3 player (not too interested in downloading tunes), and I have dial-up internet.
So my question is can I download rifftrax onto an MP3 player thru dial-up? If so, is it gonna take forever?
And seeing as how I'm not really interested in doing anything else with an MP3 player, can I just get an inexpensive player? Should it be 1 GB or 2?
Any help would be appreciated.

Is your computer near your TV Voyeur? I don't have a separate MP3 player either so I play the Rifftrax on my computer while watching the TV. The Rifftrax zip files are 30 MB or so , so it may take a little while to download them on dial up so you'll have to plan your time. It should be doable though.

Yes. Obviously you would download the RiffTrax to your computer then plug your MP3 player into your computer and copy it over.
The rifftrax are roughly 30 - 40 MB in size. They come in a ZIP file. My "best guess" is that it would take an hour or so to download them through dial up. Best to have it download and walk away and have din din or something...
MP3 players are rather cheap these days. I think you can get a 1GB for around $25 or so.
Like Phantom Engineer said, if you have a laptop or a computer near your TV then you can play your RiffTrax through it.

if you have cd burning capablities and a disc that will hold that length of audio, im sure its also possible to download it, and just copy it to a cd and play it on a stereo or something like that.. the thing is, idk if cd's can hold that much, probably nowadays its very possible.
