Fred Willard was more subdued than I was hoping.
I remember Mary Jo saying that the process for "Glitter" was that she wrote jokes for half the movie, and Mike wrote joke for the other half (or something like that). I got the impression that Mike & Fred had a similar process. About halfway through the movie, the jokes got more Willard-esque. I loved his references to his Christopher Guest roles (including a great, "Wha' happened?")
But I loved it, nonetheless. I just didn't find Willard to be as blisteringly funny as he can be when he's ad-libbing.

I watched it last night, pretty funny. Fred Willard was entertaining. The movie is pretty goofy, but I dig the monsters in it (the rock monsters were cool and so was the spider). Im just happy that they picked a pre-2000 movie.

My DVD arrived in less than a week, it usually takes two to three for stuff to get over here from the States. Wasn't autographed shamefully but no matter. Thought it was very funny and the movie was wonderful in it's goofiness!

I agree plus for the great work that you have done with your great rifftrax site they should get you a ticket to the Legends studio and that you themselves.
