Awesome, thanks a ton Sandstorm! That's great and I prefer the captioning that way too. Happy to do it. And btw, I watched your riff of the "Wild Guitar" preview. I'd be glad to convert that one as well... that is... if I can endure the disturbing mug of Ash Hall Jr. during the process.

It's too bad they didn't do this one on MST (I know they considered it)

You probably knew it was already done, but just in case... And let me again extend the offer to everyone... that I'll be happy to convert your RiffTrax DiY video into an instant loading YouTube video (with riffs intact). Just give me the link to your riff at cuts.com and I'll take care of the rest.

I just checked out some of the results, and they are awesome. You wouldn't even know they were done by fans using "riffing" software. Kudos! MightyJack, kudos to you - I almost spit coffee on my monitor from "Is his face made of poultry?" Awesome job, everyone. Keep 'em coming! (And I'll let you know if and when this feature becomes something we can all do "out of the box" )

Why thank you kindly.
I replay these so often while working on them and hearing the lines over and over... well, the -laugh suprise- factor disappears. But the one that did crack me up was the, "Well, don't put it in your mouth" line - in a way it makes no sense, but in another, calling Arch and/or his tongue, "It", was very funny to me.

I made one, maybe you've seen it? I think Sandstorm has, at least once.
I'm sorry, is the sarcasm coming through clearly enough?

Hey Cire, I'm not sure I've seen that video yet. At any rate, for those interested, here's the latest RiffTrax DiY YouTube conversion. This one's by riffer: Minnesota So who else wants a conversion?

Hey thanks for uploading the Wild Guitar one to You Tube. I can't get that Cuts site to load so I've missed out on the stuff there. Wild Guitar is always my #1 pick when it comes to movies you wish they showed on MST and that was a nice job.

I agree... it's a perfect movie for riffing. And it's available dirt cheap both new and used on Amazon.com . I hope either the RiffTrax crew or CT give this flick consideration.

Lots of new fan-riffs over at the RiffTraxDiY YouTube channel. It's up to 14 videos now and counting. And of course, I'm still taking requests to convert anyone's DiY riff from cuts.com into YouTube versions for inclusion on the channel. Just give me the url to your DiY riff, and I'll take care of the rest.

Your riff will be up next. This one's gonna take a bit longer than normal, because I'm gonna try and adjust the audio on the youtube clip... as it's extremely low. But don't worry, I'll make sure that you riffs are still heard clearly as well. (should be ready sometime later today). I'll let you know when it's up. -Sandstorm

The clip I used was on YouTube which is probably why the sound quality isn't good. Thanks though!

Ack, I just watched the Xanadu riff. I'd heard of that movie, but I couldn't have imagined ANYTHING could have been that horrible. :X

Ack, I just watched the Xanadu riff. I'd heard of that movie, but I couldn't have imagined ANYTHING could have been that horrible. :X And it was quite low point for Gene Kelly... almost felt sorry for him... almost At any rate, I'm sure you've noticed that your riff is now up and running on the RiffTraxDiy YouTube Channel. For the conversion, I was able to download the same youtube clip, bump up it's audio by 15db while also lowering the soundtrack 15db at each riff, adjust it's aspect ratio to 16:9 so the picture wasn't vertically stretched as in the original clip, and re-create your skip points so that it synced properly with your riff audio. All in all... Piece o' Cake! Click the pic below to view...
