I was going to skip this Rifftrax because The Star Wars Holiday Special sounds so creepy, and it seems like folks here weren't overly impressed with it, but then I saw that 72% of the votes at the Rifftrax Forum give it 10 stars out of 10, which makes it (I think) one of the highest ranked of them all. Maybe I'll gird my loins and give it a shot. Like I said, it wasn't the technical "funniest" but I think I liked the overall feeling of it more than just about any other I've seen. Since the Special is online, it's not gonna get much cheaper than this one. Anyway, I would highly recommend it.

I think this one was one of the funniest "riffs" that any of them have ever done...... going all the way back to MST3K session one. I was in tears multiple times.

The Star Wars Holiday Special Riff Trax!!!! Oh my God, I think I'm madly in lust. Is it possible to watch that Riff-trax on the Internet (fully paid) of course? Please some one answer soon!

Well, if you buy the track you can play it while watching the special on Google Video. So, in that sense, yes.

I offered this on the Rifftrax forum, so I figured I'd do the same here. This is an animated (poorly) intro that may be of use to those of you who are into burning their own DVD with the Rifftrax commentary integrated. For my DVD, I wanted to keep the Rifftrax intro on it, but I didn't want to watch a blank screen while waiting for Holiday Special to start, so this is the resulting effort. YouTube VersionSo if you'd like to use it for yours, the full resolution MP4 version can be found Right Here (14.5 megs) Enjoy!

Very cool idea there, Sandstorm. I also sometimes like the intro segments, but agree there should be something on the screen to accompany it. Nicely done!

I apologize if someone has answered this already, but does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Star Wars special on DVD WITH the commercials still intact?
