Have had major syncing problems thanks to my copy of the film being taped off the telly and the showing having been at dinner time meaning it's full of cuts and commercial breaks so I just decided to order the DVD. A funny riff though I may enjoy it more without all the problems!

I loved it! I mean, it wasn't the bestest ever (what is?), but I thought it showed great potential for possible future cooperation between the two. Weird Al has a cool sense of humor, and I think it'd be great to see him do some more, maybe with more of a hand in the writing process - allow him to pen more things for himself; I really think he could add some fresh elements. As it was he sounded more scripted than natural in most of his lines, but I supposed that just goes with the territory. We take it for granted that riffing is easy, but you can tell it's actually quite complicated to do just right, especially for someone doing it for their first time.
I was hoping for a bunch of references to Weird Al's Macarthur Park/Jurassic Park parody, but at least there was one (or did I miss another?)!

"You know, Jurrasic Park in the light... not so frightening" - Reference by Weird Al to his own song - "Jurrasic Park is frightening, in the dark, all the dinosaurs are running wild..."
Over all liked the riff.

I think it's interesting that Al would do this...but then again he did a parody about it.

I always knew al would be good at riffing.
MST3K + Weird Al = GENIOUS
