Secret, shameful love. That's what I have for... oh, God, this is so embarrassing.... "Everything I Do/ I Do It For You" YES! The love theme from Robin Hood! I'm sorry! I can't help it! If I'm in a car and it comes on the radio, we all laugh and make fun and change the station and my secret voice is whimpering*don't turn it off! I love that song!* I wish someone would call the station and dedicate it to me. Oh, so embarrassing...which embarrassing songs call out to you?

"Double Dutch Bus". The weird, drunk lyrics during the bridge make it a otherwise enjoyable song. I wish there was an instrumental.

Hmm I'm not sure what's stupid to other people.
Is "Groove is in the Heart" considered stupid? I dunno, but while it's not my usual style I loved it and the video.
Oh, I really loved that "Men Without Hats" song that everyone makes fun of. That's a good one. Yeah, so I do like a stupid song. yay!

Hmm I'm not sure what's stupid to other people. Is "Groove is in the Heart" considered stupid? I dunno, but while it's not my usual style I loved it and the video. Bootsy Collins played the bass line for that. Anyone who thinks Bootsy's stupid can bite me. As for the thread, people rarely believe me when I tell them I enjoy Lionel Richie. And not in an ironic way. I just can't feel sad or angry when Lionel is on my stereo.

"Tell Him" by the Exciters
"Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats
"99 Luft Balloons" by Nena
I'm sure that there are more, but I can't think of them right now.

"Bodies" by Drowning Pool is the single greatest creation mankind has ever achieved.

I like that one, too. Also "C'mon, Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners. It's throway pop, but catchy as hell.

I'm a big fan of the Oldies. Unfortunately our Oldies station here in KC promises "the best hits of the 60s and 70s," but mostly plays 80s Billy Joel, Elton John, Hall & Oates, etc.

My music collection is bulging with stupid music, including a lot of '80s music. I love it.
I say the Bloodhound Gang sweeps the category for me, though.

Most of my collection is novelty music, but I somehow think you mean "stupid songs that are meant seriously."
Hmmm....you know, I've always had a soft spot for "Build me up Buttercup."
