Anybody like them? I remember liking them when they were big in the late 90's. I hear they have a new album coming soon.

They're pretty good.
I saw them live and a crowd surfer fell on my back and hit my chest off of a metal marrier. Other than that, it was fun though! Noodles was pouring some of his energy drink into the audience and it hit me in the eye... haha.

The metal barrier was just trying to cop a feel.

Whoops, I meant barrier.
M isn't even close the the b! Jeez. Oh well.
If that's the case with the "marrier" then it didn't do too great of a job as it hit my sternum!

I like their 90s stuff, and I feel they were head and shoulder above their peers along with Rancid.

My first CD ever:
Americana
Yes, I quite like The Offspring, I miss the old stuff in comparison to the new, but they are a really good, and for once, actually unique sounding band.

I can play "Original Prankster" on the tuba Or I used to be able to anyhow. I haven't played one for about two years now.

Noodles was pouring some of his energy drink into the audience and it hit me in the eye... haha. Off topic, but it reminds me of a story. A friend's roommate went to Cleveland to see AFI, and the singer jumped off the stage to crowd-surf, hit her square in the head, and broke her neck. No, it didn't kill her, but she wore a rods-and-pins metal neck cage for several months while her cervical vertebrae healed. Thing is, she's lying on the floor, crowd seething around her - nobody from the band or the venue did poopie. Her friends picked her up and drove her to the hospital. Remember kids - rock & roll is dangerous.

Ugh, Davey Havoc is such a loser! I mean, I realize he probably didn't intend to do that, but I would feel like a pile of crap if I found out I broke a fan's neck.

Oh I'm sure he didn;t mean it either, but... He's aware of it now, I'm sure. She's taking legal action against the band to cover her medical bills, which are astronomical.

Yeah, I'd do that. I mean, a broken wrist is one thing, but a broken neck and all the complications-- that's huuuuuuuuge bucks. That's sad!

And she was employed by a temp agency at the time. I'm not certain she had any health insurance coverage when it happened. And she's not looking to get wealthy off them - she just needs thousands of dollars of medical bills covered. Not unreasonable imo. I never mosh at concerts myself, haven't for over 20 years. But I'm old. Ok, I won't continue my off topic posts here anymore. The Phantom Police busts us for that, you know. ;D
