Had a horrible crush on a girl back in my sophomore or junior year. I'm ashamed to admit I listened to Take That almost continually. Very disturbing even to remember that fact. But admission is the first step towards recovery they say.

Music is my salvation and my voice. So yeah, I do it for anything. Lets see, back when I had a crush what was I listening too...
Your Beautifull, James Blunt (even though I'm not a fan of the CD, this was the song I heard when I first saw her)
Sweet Young Thing, the Monkees - Jiminy thinks Johnny, I put this on replay for about an hour one day. lol
Then She Appeared, XTC - another that I sat back and hit replay for a long time ("I was a little dazzled, Catherine wheeled and senses frazzled...").
But aside from that, I write songs myself so I got a bunch of those on the old 4 track Fostex that I wrote and recorded.

Hmm, I don't know if I know that song. I'll have to go find it.
Another classic, is "You Don't Know Me" by Ray Charles. Sad, heartfelt tune.
And Hugh, do you still wish that you had Jessie's girl?

mighty jack - i listened to 'you don't know me' by ray charles over and over while mourning the loss of a relationship once. he just got it. i don't listen to any particular song when i am crushing on someone, but it has been a LONG time since i've done that anyway. but i'll hear older songs on the radio that take me right back to those feelings instantly - something that was popular when i was head over heels and i can remember everything about it. i, too, see the colors!
