I was initially worried I wouldn't be able to go because of the age limit, which is 21, but I'm 20. Well, turns out I was able to go. Things got cleared up and they allowed me to attend the concert last night. I had a ball! It was so cool hearing and seeing Petula Clark live. She's pushing 75, and she still sings as good as she did back in 1965. She also proves to have a great since of humor. In a way her concert was almost music/stand-up comedy. She told some funny stories that occurred throughout her life, she told about her events that happened while making the 1967 film "Finian's Rainbow", got to hear her jokingly diss Paul McCartney, it was a good time.
I've always felt Petula Clark was an underrapreciated singer, even if she did have a heyday back in the late 60s, I think she is mostly forgotten nowadays, and most of the younger generation have no clue who she is (even though they may be familiar with the song "Downtown"). IMO, Barbara Streisand has absolutely NOTHING on Clark.

I've always loved her. A friend of mine has everything she ever did in his library. I have a fair share.

Does anyone else think this should be in the music board?

She's terrific. "It's A Sign Of The Times," "I Know A Place," "Downtown" etc. are some of my favorite Oldies. What a pity our Oldies station here in KC plays Billy Joel and Hall & Oates instead of Petula Clark.

Old country music is the only good country music, IMHO.
