In honor o' th'day (TLAP Day), I've been riflin' through my novelty music collection t' see what piratey music I can lay me hands on. I don't have much, I fear, but I do have a few tracks I enjoy.
-The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything by Relient K (one of the few cover songs that actually outpaces the song that it's a tribute to.) -What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor by Cap'n Tractor -Last Saskatchewan Pirate by Cap'n Tractor (I've never heard the original version by The Arrogant Worms, it saddens me heart t'say.) -The Pirate Song by Ray Stevens (not the best o' th'bunch, but it's worth a listen once or twice.)
And, of course, the soundtrack to the first Pirates o' th' Carribean flick.
Anyone out there have any special Pirate Day tunes they'd like t'point us towarrrds?

However, much as I enjoy Larrrrry the Cucumbarr, Pa Grape and Mr. Lunt, Relient K's constructed a song 'at's easier ta dance to. Arrr.

Wow, I know of "The Pirates that don't do Anything."
But I didn't know it was by Relient K. Ugh. I don't like them. But the song is interesting!
Flogging Molly's "Seven Deadly Sins" talks some about pirates.

I'm Shipping Up To Boston-The Dropkick Murphy's
That's the ONLY pirate song I can think of.
I was watching The Departed one night, and I thought to myself: "Wow!! This has a real pirate-y feel to it!"
