Honestly, for me it's like wondering what the first song the Beatles would have played had they reunited to play a concert. I don't personally care what is first. I am just totally overjoyed it is happening and can't wait to see them in action again! Marvelous and perfect attitude! And we must all remember to bow down to RAD for being so hinty.

Agreed.
And now that it's up, I'm moving this thread there.
Happy days.

I remember one of the MST3K Review sites (Mighty Jack's? I'm not sure) had Speculated Seasons 11 and 12. Basically listing other "typical MST" films that may have had a chance to be riffed on, if the show had continued. For this Speculation Thread, I think they would be a good place to start. Could someone post a thread or link to them?
I remember seeing The Norsemen (with Lee Majors and "Crenshaw") on the list. I later saw most of it on Showtime, and it indeed was a riffable prospect.

Here's my last-est, best-est guess.... The ultimate Star Wars rip-off (ever) was Roger Corman's Battle Beyond the Stars (1980).

If they do "Santa and The Ice Cream Bunny" I would probably spontaniously combust in a burst of greasy flame! I couldn't stand it! It would mean I was directly responsible (maybe)!
I took that movie to the last meet up back in June and gave a copy to RAD and Mary Jo. Mary Jo was too kind to write me back after watching it, cursing me for making her aware of it's existance. (in a nice way of course! Mary Jo has class to spare!)
Like us all, I am counting the days!

I'm hoping and praying for them to do a little unknown film called Nukie[/i]. I saw it a couple of years back thanks to a friend who had a collection of rare and bizzare movies. It was awful. Worse then awful. Makes some of the stuff seen on MST3K seem like cinematic epics.[/quote] I know of Nukie simply because of the hilarious review Something Awful did for it a few years back: www.somethingawful.com/d/movie-reviews/nukie.phpI would love to see that movie riffed on.

After reading about this from your meet-up, I'm actually a little scared of it happening. Is it fun bad, or is it painful bad?

After reading the interview on SW.com : starwars.com/community/news/rocks/f20071109/index.html I think a Lucas film is pretty well off the table- sounds like they're just hosting the premiere. The talk of the You Are Here series and the time capsule in the pre-release art makes me wonder if the plot of CT might involve post-apocalyptic archaeologists studying our movies.

Anyone who has seen it would know why. I <3 Sybil Danning This movie kicks all sorts of butt and not just for her being in it. You get John Boy Walton, George 'Space Cowboy' Peppard, Robert Vaughn being Robert Vaughn, and John Saxon going nutzoid on the universe. The only other movie I can compare it to is Starcrash.
