So silhouettes are back. I hope people on scaffolding on the sides of the screen won't be too distracting.

No...effing...way. *speechless*Could there be crossovers between this and Rifftrax? This is great news! Imagine if the Rifftrax/Film Crew folks joined together on this. It's be some sort of Super-riff. A Mega-riff, even! I mean, seriously. They could all be one big, brainy family again! ;D

They will all be writing and performing new riffs, with silhouettes. The silhouettes are easily the strangest thing about it - on the side?! BLASPHEMY!! I'm concerned about the downloadable DVDs, though - will it be something watchable on a computer? I have no way to burn a DVD myself, so I hope that it's a viewable file or is offered through the mail as well.

This is probably the most MST-like project of all the recent stuff, that interests me the most.
BUT WHY CAN'T YOU ALL JUST GET BACK TOGETHER AND TRY AND MAKE A NEW SHOW INSTEAD OF TEN BASTARD VERSIONS?! Not that they're all bad, but how many egos are getting in whose way?
Notice how Joel mentioned Lucasfilm? Could they be doing the Star Wars Holiday Special? I know Lucas never wants it to see the light of day, but maybe if he showed a good sense of humor about it, he'd let it go and make some extra cash off of something he is otherwise going to sit on. I know it's a pretty big movie, but it's pretty ballsy for Joel to say it's worse than Manos, and something like the Holiday special could live up to expectations. Plus the right time of year for release, and mention of SCCTM.

Maybe they'll finally do "From Hell it Came", a film that Mary Jo always wanted to riff on MST3K but they weren't able to.
This is exciting. It's always good to know that Joel is still working, as he's usually the most reclusive of the MST cast

Holy buckets! It's good to see the old crew getting back together again, though I am a little worried about there being two seperate camps. I hope it doesn't get too competitive and that they acknowledge each other, maybe do a little something together in the future.
It really is nice to see these folks again, especially the wiley and reclusive Joel (in his natural environment). Hope everything pans out well.

Damn this is great news, I never thought that MST3K would live on like this after it went off the air. I mean MST is still getting new fans from youtube & other internet video sites.
I have been wanting to hear Joel & Trace riff movies again, & now I can. This is great, I can't wait to hear more info. I hope that they put out a dvd, I like dvds.
I am just so happy!

Best friends in college were all like, "Let's never grow apart!" The rare reunions we had since were just awkward and silly. It just wasn't the same. People need to move on after a time. It's sad. Hopefully "CT" (is that the new acronym?) will capture something new and even better than MST... if that's possible.
