I am too technologically unadvanced to trust myself burning anything but the occasional 80's hair band CD collection to rock out with. DVD format will be bought the day it is available here. Just gotta break the kid's piggy bank... Just kidding. About the piggy bank thing. We knew what you meant. You can get in the kid's bank without breaking it. And your child will never notice the money missing.

The minute... the second it comes out. Any format.
I'm trying not to get too excited. I want to keep my expectations low to avoid disappointment. But I just can't help it. I really think this is going to be great.

I really think this is going to be great. Ditto to everything you said. I can't help but keep thinking this is going to be the greatest thing EVER, and I'm really not that kind of person. I like to think that everything is gonna suck and be pleasanlty suprised if it doesn't. But c'mon! It's Joel and Trace and Frank and Josh and MJ!!!!!!! This is gonna be the greatest thing EVER!!! Damn, there I go again.

I'll get it no matter what. Format should have no real baring on anything since you can convert to whatever format you want. Even many free programs convert to any format.

I dunno, I think I'll wait a bit. I waited quite a while on the Film Crew dvds also. Reviews for that didn't end up being all that stellar, but eventually I succumbed and bought a few. I guess it depends on the price. I sampled rifftrax immediately cuz it was cheap, and it hooked me to get at least a dozen or so audio files from them. If the download price of Cinematic Titanic is cheap, I'll do it right away and form my own reviews You know what's great about this? The money will be going to the actual brains behind the show. (I think. I hope.) Not some faceless corporation or controversial middle man. Now, sure, the Titans might have to turn right around and give the money to their capital investors or whoever's bankrolling this. But still. Yeah, I hope so. That's what I really love about Rifftrax - no middle man. My money goes to a good home. But with the Film Crew dvds I wasn't as excited to fork over the money because there's all the middle man costs with the production (obviously there is overhead for Rifftrax too, but not like with the commercial release of Film Crew through Shout Factory and Legend). Well, here's to hoping that CinTitan is good. Seeing that clip of Frank on YouTube the other day as a picketing studio exec certainly renewed my hope in their creativity.

That's one of the reasons I buy the Babylon 5 Scriptbooks, JMS actually gets some money from them.

I'm feeling pretty darned giddy about the prospect of buying it in ANY format.

So as per the latest update they are releasing it in almost any format you can think of which I think is just brilliant! I will be staying up late DEC 10 to download mine at midnight! (Runs to check calendar.) Doh, that’s a Monday! Well, when I get home from work on Tuesday then.

I'm gonna wait, initially, for some fan reviews, but after that I would buy them on DVD, probably not for a LONNNNNG time if they're only downloadable. I have a nice new computer but I still get by with a phone connection at home, and I don't dare download stuff at work.
So I still haven't tried out Riffrax yet, for instance. But I wanna! If Rifftrax could be easily burned onto a DVD with the movie I'd be into that action. But as long as I have to rent the movie to enjoy the Rifftrax, I'm on hold.

For me it is any format. I hope they have a downloadable format. I have cable access. There is never a time that I am not already filesharing of some sort. I already have an extensive rifftrax library (synced) downloaded. I find available files, buy the mp3's from Rifftrax, then download the pre-synced xvid files from whatever p2p I find them on. As for CinTitanic, when the DVD format is available, I will purchase those for the packaging/extras. My only hope is that they choose a format for downloading that falls within a 700mb to 1gb size. The divx/xvid .avi format would accommodate that nicely. As for the cost, since the release date is in early December, I have no problem buying myself an early X-mas present

It would be great if it came out for instant viewing, but I would probably have to wait for the DVD anyway. My PC might not do well with it, stream or download.

You know, the rifftrax player is awesome but I’m just not interested in the big Hollywood movies they keep putting out.
