He kept the rights to the word Gizmonic after he left MST3k. Maybe it was just so he can negotiate a higher royalties from any episode featuring that name, but this would be the perfect chance to pull it out again for CinTi.
P.S. This post is really just a coy plot to make "CinTi" the official abbreviation for Cinematic Titanic.

How about Cinemanic or Cinetanic? And, yes, he should.

CiTi brings to mind Citibank or some such.
I second CinTi . . it's a cool word !
( maybe RAD knows something there also ? )

We should hold Rad hostage and force him to watch horrid movies until he squeels. CiTi brings to mind Citibank or some such. That was the point.

Because CT is too complicated for people?

Because we have to have the full name, a shorter version, and a complete acronym for it, just like that one other TV show.

Because CT is too complicated for people? Every time someone uses CT, I think of a CT scan. I still vote for CT3k. I add the 3k for everything MST related.

I think if he uses Gizmonic it could be enough lead to a "confusion in the market place" lawsuit, with Mallon, since it was used on MST all those years. Granted Joel owns the rights, but Mallon may just try and stop it. (Seeing as he tried to stop the Film Crew DVDs, I wouldn't put it past him)

It's probably just an Ohioan thing, but CinTi reminds me of Cincinnati. Well, I like CineTitan, myself. But there's lots of places we could go with this. I also like the fresh-from-the-oven flavor of Cinetanic. Oooh, oooh! Or how about combining Cinematic Titanic with Gizmonics, and calling it Cinemonics? It's the delicious breakfast treat that helps improve reading scores! There's also Cintactic, Cinaptic (good for your synapses!), or pure and simple Cinic (we're not critics, we're Cinics--or Cinix, for that '90s' touch).

How about we use the natural and logical abbreviation "CT?" I don't remember people talking about MST3K as MySciThe30.
