How 'bot this. First person to get it and post here, posts an "I got it" thread....
And then we'll all post a reply saying, "me too!"
But some people will post a reply saying, "I haven't got mine yet!" even though the thread title is clearly stated as "I got it" not "I haven't got it!" We could have had an "I haven't got it" thread for years now.
Anyway, there you go.
..
.
...
.
I haven't gotten mine yet, btw.

Do we know from where the product is shipping?
English majors, feel free to correct above sentence.

Believe me, I feel positive that the first person to get a copy will start their own "I GOT IT!!" thread with very little prompting needed... RAD

And the seething hatred of that person by the rest of us will begin shortly after...

Preposterous!

I knew it !
As the shipping becomes downright imminent , I recalled leaving a cool little breakdown of the remaining "Phases of Waiting" somewhere ! Twas buried in the middle of RAD's "Capton This !" I hope it's cool to quote myself & put this in a more proper thread :
After all the announcements and then delays thru the Holidays, we've endured many phases , including > "what ?, Really ??!" / "more updates !" / "a release date !" / "delayed ???" / and , of course .. "say something Joel !" Even the final stretch is comprised of many distinct phases , including of course the "OMG , it finally shipped" phase .. . . or , Phase 7.
Phase 8 , naturally blends right out of Phase 7 into "and now it's on it's way !!"
Phase 9 looks to be the trickiest , yet briefest phase. "Opening the shipping envelope without having trembling hands lurch it apart & bounce the disc off the ceiling"
Phase 10 is an out-of-body experience as you make the world go away and clear your schedule for viewing.
Phase 11 ? . . nobody's on the boards.
See ya' for Phase 12 !!

(paraphrasing)
"What Phase are we on now, Joel?"
"Two"
"Oh man, then we're only half way there!"

Loved that riff... one of Josh's best!
But I think it went more like:
Screen Title Announces Phase II
Servo: What was the name of this movie Joel? Joel: Phase IV Servo: We're halfway there...
