She's funny. No mention of going back, so maybe the more work Joel mentioned is minor and we'll have the first ep any day.

There are a few subtle hints about how seeing the film on the big screen may have given them some ideas. And I like her use of the word "interstitials," another way of saying "host segments!"

Woo hoo! Man, what I wouldn't give to hang out with Mary Jo and Joel in an airport! I love the part about the guy putting his foot in his mouth with right-winger Victoria Jackson. OOPS! I'm quite skilled at putting my foot in my mouth, so I'm just relieved that it wasn't me. Never assume that everyone has the same political views as you-- I learned THAT the hard way. It's great to hear directly from Mary Jo! I'm so excited about CT! And apparently so is she, which is great! And I don't know why, but I laughed hard at the part "I turned to Trace and said, with my normal baffled look and demeanor" -- I just get such a funny mental image from that. Keep us posted, Mary Jo! We love ya!

I'm now reading past posts on Mary Jo's blog and I am delighted by it. I almost spit soda all over my keyboard from laughing when I read this, from Mary Jo's experience at an artsy coffe shop:
Here’s a snippet, and I quote: “I identified with the refugees I photographed because of my own abandonment issues when my father left our family.” Oh. No. You. Did. Not. Just. Say. That.
Hilarious.

RAD Damn my literal thinking brain! ;D Yeah, I still can't find her first book. Did Plan 9 go out of business? I checked Ebay and Half.com and didn't see anything. Bummer, it's a great book. If you ever spot it, buy it immediately. No matter the cost.

Oh hush. ;P I'm not much of one for actively looking for celebrities and approaching them, they get enough of that. It's just cool to know they're nearby and if I happen to see somebody walking down the street, hey, cool. Something neat to remember.
