I've checked my e-mail... nothing is there. And I got the e-mail about the poll, so I know I'm on the list. :-(

Let's all meet back here in 10!!! days to talk about it.....
4 out of 5 people apparently prefer to wait for snail-mail and spend more money then make the exact same thing at home in a couple of hours.....

Technically I'm away on vacation, but as I actually got an e-mail from CT about this today, I couldn't help but respond. Huzzah! It'll be a little while before I can do anything, but huzzah! I'm glad it's here!

It doesn't even look like they will have a DVD cover either. I guess I'll be making custom covers for these too.

I'm sure the "pressing plant" was also put thru a fire-drill ( or are currently ) , as the new enlivened pass at the film obviously came so close to the release date . . well, today.
They were just handed the thing as Joel was on his way home today !
We won't see this kind of tight turnaround again.
Who else has watched the trailer 8 to 10 times ?

Who wants to order?? I want to download it tonight!! BOGUS! YES! Cinematic Titanic is done, it's out, it's ready... I ... need to wait two weeks for it... to .... ship... ...and then however long.... it. takes. to. arrive. *breaths deeply* It's gonna be alright. It's gonna be alright. Look at the shiny trailer! Look it answers so many questions! Yes there will be visual gags a-plenty. Yes the riffing is fantastic. Yes, the set design kicks major butt. This is gonna be the sweetest thing since ... something sweet. (Now I just gotta wonder why their mailing list keeps neglecting people.)

I'm thinking that under normal circumstances you would be able to download it at the same time, just paying the $3 to get the nice DVD shipped as well. Personally, I prefer having the professional looking DVD than a self-made DVD with sharpy writing for the title. I'm sure I'm not the only one. (If only it came with a case too, alas). It really is too bad that their first outing is plagued with this rights issue. I was really looking forward to checking it out as soon as possible.

4 out of 5 people apparently prefer to wait for snail-mail and spend more money then make the exact same thing at home in a couple of hours..... Well, I want something perminant, like the actual DVD, instead of something digital that will vanish when and if my computer goes TU. Besides, I buy no digital music or movies of any kind and have no inclination of doing so, I have only dial-up, and I'm not going to waste my money on the hardware to do so for something I'm patient enough to have mailed.

This is gonna be the sweetest thing since ... something sweet. If this is sweeter than the Killer Shrew, we're in for a real treat. And I'm gonna stop there before my snack metaphors spin out of control.

If you don't want to upgrade then the mail order is for you. As far as something permanent, the disc you are getting in the mail is the exact same thing that can be made at home with the EZTAKES download service. There is no difference what so ever.
