But I have to admit to being really surprised that 4 out of 5 prefer a DVD in the mail over downloading and burning themselves. I would have thought it would be closer to 50%. Yeah, I'm surprised about that too, actually. Yeah, but that includes people who, like myself, probably meant a proper boxed copy, not just a burnt one.

The curse of dialup in my case {but I'd bet most people don't want to wait until April to see this and far more important, buying it now will ensure that a new CT offering will come along the way eventually} but look at shipping/burn price; 2.99 is a pretty good deal versus a four month wait. I'm surprised that people are quibbling over that 75 cents a month.

In his most recent posting , Joel says > "In those two performances, enough new and better material evolved to warrant another pass at the film. " . . . We'll we eventually get ahold of "The Oozing Skull" - Take One ? Well, they did say they were going to make a recording of one of the live shows available, which should be close to Take One minus the interstitials. My initial impression during the delay was that it was slight tweaks to the overall format & concept of the show, while Joel's latest posts make me think it was as at least as much about fixing and adding riffs. This leads me to wonder (hope? fantasize?) if they'll start doing live rehearsals of all the episodes to get audience feedback.

Loved the trailer, and wasn't upset over the "DVD in an envelope" issue.
I can easily make a cover and insert that (along with the DVD) into a new plastic case.
What I cannot do easily is download a huge file (I have a pathetic limit as to what I can download per day) or burn it correctly onto disk.
So far, CT is running pefect in my eyes. The trailer was very funny, the DVD will be available in a few weeks...I only hope that many movies will be available in 2008.

Well after what seemed like a small misfire, they get it ready just a little late for the holidays. While my Christmas isn't going to be quite as Merry, I'm glad my New Year is gonna be happy as they got it out, even if a little late for the Christmas shopping season. The trailer definately put me back into focus, as I had lost intrest in the waiting period. I like that sight gags look to be coming back, which was rare past season one. I'm also glad that they're doing DVDs, as the download thing seems like a bitch, (I know, it should be easy, but my comp just sucks) and this took a couple minutes, even with signing up with EZTakes. I also like they're doing things differently than RiffTrax with more laid back riffs as opposed to cynical. I wonder if Mike and Kevin were the main ones doing that during the CC years, and if CT might lose something without it. (Like RiffTrax kinda seems to the other way around) Well now I guess the only thing left is to wait for the thing to get here! ;D

I just ordered mine! I'm going to save judgment on the finished product until I see it, but going by the trailer it was okay. I hope those aren't their best jokes their showing, however. Oh, are people going to yell at me for that? I did really like the setup, though.

Oh, are people going to yell at me for that? Of course not, Roz! I doubt that there's any two members on this board who share the same opinion on every aspect of MST3K or the various permutations thereof. That's what makes the dialogue interesting, is it not? RAD

I thought the vulgarity kept the dialouge interesting. ;D

The trailer looks great! I sympathize with the plight of our foreign friends and will be glad to order and send you this DVD, as long as you cover the additional postage from me to you and any other related expenses (paypal fees and bubble mailer cost). You must pay all estimated costs up front. Send me a pm if I can help. Thanks to Sky I''l get to see this now! HUZZAH! The little promo's hilarious so fingers and toes crossed for this project.

Well, I finally received the fan club e-mail this morning, right after subscribing again. Yeah, I just got my e-mail this morning. Weird that their e-mail club has such delays. Maybe they should look into a better mailing list provider, cause most mailing lists I'm on send things out to everybody at the same time.

I got my email at 11:15, but damn you UPS night shift. I didn't order it until 5:15. I'll be getting mine days after you guys will My favorite riff in the trailer has got to be the "They ransacked my apartment!" I've watched the trailer countless times and I laugh at that every time. Hey, my best friend used to work the UPS night shift. I feel for you. (I was about to make some comment about getting it early, but then I realized that since they are using netflix-like envelopes they'll probably ship them USPS.)
