Ya' know what . rep-sam ? This button-bit we're doin' got me thinkin' , That's a "call-back" MsT reference we could actually see them do ! We've already seen that thet're interacting w/ the movie . . . Frank is called Frank here in CT-World . . . . Imagine a scene where , I dunno' , an alarm is going off , they show the console w/ blinking lights . . . . Frank gets up saying " jeez, that's annoying ! . . where's the off-switch ?!" and Trace , above him , says "Push the button, Frank" aahh , well I can dream !That would be absolutely amazing if they did that. In fact, any sly references to MST would be most welcome and make some great "in" references to their most devoted fans. :-) I hope they do!

Just to note on whether Joel are going to do more disgusting movies. I would say BOB will be a pretty good indicator about the level they will go. Other movies from Sam's library includes some blaxplotation, Naziplotation, and sexplotation films. They passed on all of those to do the more common genre, horror, with BOB.
One a different note, now that they seem to be doing sight gags, they'll probably do movies with nudity, and I'm sure Joel will open the proverbial umbrella so to speak. (First one to get it gets a cookie)

I'm fine with any direction they go in as long as it's funny. Hopefully they don't go in the "Excessive Food Jokes" direction that Mike, Bill, and Kevin are going in. Oh, that guy's face looks like a plump meatloaf? Wait, you're telling me that his gut is shaped like a beef tenderloin? Let me get this straight, this joke is still not funny no matter how many times you repeat it in slightly different ways?

OK, if you prefer I'll hand you the clown hammer at the outset. You can be softening yourself up while I deal with the riff-raff.

You know, for as much as I admire MST3K for its subtlety when it came to more "adult" references when it was on basic cable, I was wondering just when the show turned all its fans into a bunch of prissies. It's not the show's fault. I've always been a prissy. (Prissie?) Let them riff how they want to riff. Of course. And I'll choose not to buy what I don't want to buy. That said, if it turns out that the Titans choose to riff more often on the blue, or puke green, or poopie brown, end of the spectrum than I'm comfortable with, then I'll be disappointed. I'm disappointed with Film Crew and RiffTrax for that very reason. So what? Well, I like all these former Brains, and I want to support their new projects. So I'm bummed when I can't enjoy their work. In a way, I guess I even feel kinda left out. It's as though they only wrote in a PG way all those years because they had to. Deep down they were rolling their collective eyes at the strangulating censorship imposed by namby-pamby wussies like me. OK, I got carried away at that last bit there. Sorry. These guys rarely push the envelope in that direction, and after nearly 20 years, I don't think it would hurt them any to be bold. " Bold?! Hell, yes, they're bold!!!"

While I don't care too much if there are innuendoes, it's more of the kid like riffs that get me truly laughing. Sexual jokes don't really offend me or anything, just... I don't know. They're not that funny to me. So I kinda hope they stick with the same level of things they did with MST3K, it was just enough to be great.

Innuendoes and things-that-might-be-euphemisms I find hilarious. They did them both on MST without over-doing it.
Personally, gross-out humor and potty humor are what really bother me. Both in that they are cheap jokes that anyone could do, and that they are.. well.. gross. Personally I love that the humor in MST was generally more sophisticated than all that.
