Hey all, first time poster here. I noticed a few of you seemed concerned/annoyed about the burned DVD-r's they would be getting in the mail. So I whipped up a quick one. You'll have to add the disc information yourself, but that shouldn't be too difficult for the more savvy here. This label is for a thin pack DVD. EDIT: OK, got a photobucket account going, left the RS one up too. Thanks for all the good suggestions. rapidshare.com/files/79440144/CineTitDVD_01.rar.html

That was a really lengthy process to go through, and errors involved. What's the file size? Something like Photobucket might work much better.

Try using DivShare.com. Also, I'd recommend sticking to ZIP folders. RAR is slightly more cumbersome, for some. Just some suggestions.

Philip Frey (aka Rhindle the Red) posted his own attempt at mst3kinfo. On the test download they have available from EZTakes, it did include a sample cover graphic, though graphic is being generous, since it was essentially just the title printed on the spine and cover. I wonder if CT downloads will come with a more professional graphic.

By the way, I'm not used diy dvd packaging. How would I use, say, one of the above covers, when all we will get is a dvd in an envelop?

Oh, I know what to do with the cover, but I guess I would have to, steal a dvd box from one of my already owned dvds? it's really the box that's an issue.

Ah yes, I can see it now! Very nicely made, Zard! I like the Time Tube on the spine.

Roz, you can buy slim DVD cases (the thickness for which many custom DVD covers are designed) in packages of as few as ten. They have them at pretty much any office supply store or anywhere else that sells blank media. Heck Mal*Wart even has them. You can also order them online. The more you buy in a package the more cost efficient they'll be, however.
If you lived in my town, I'd tell you to just go down to your friendly neighborhood used movies/music/books/and-everything-else store and ask if they have a spare. They usually have plenty of extras. Well, not always the slim ones. But there ya go. Them's my pointers.
