I agree. I was happy with the almost regular weekly updates to the site, even when it was just cranberry horseradish recipes. (Mine turned out deliciously, btw). And then the delay hit and the updates stopped too. I hope things smooth out for them. And also, as others have mentioned, a website update that allows for news/blog updates seperate from a product catalog.

Hmm, what are Barb Tebben and Julie Walker, Texas Ranger up to these days?
Seriously, based on nosing around the original CT site, it looks like they do have somebody to handle the tech and probably the design elements of the site. I actually like the notion of having the blog being the front page. Until they have more than one item in their catalog, they should just get their tech to put a summary version of the "it's now available" post on the top of the front page's template, and then they can post away underneath it.

Hmm, what are Barb Tebben and Julie Walker, Texas Ranger up to these days? Isn't Barbb still working for Best Brains, aka Jim Mallon? I think she's the only other employee, besides Mallon. That implies she's still in Minnesota (as why shouldn't she be?). It seems it would be more efficient or something to have a tech/ administrative type person in the same neck of the woods as the majority of the Titans, i.e., California. And I believe I've read around here that Julie Walker retired from MiSTiedom some time ago. But, yeah, it would be good if they got somebody.

Yeah, they really need to do something with the CT site. They need to make it more in-line with Rifftrax and the Film Crew's sites - only, update it more than the Film Crew's site. It's about as bare-bones as a blog can get - and it is a blog. As in, it's a blog and nothing else, not even a "site," in the proper sense. Let's hope they do something with it soon.

I don't think Kevin particularly cares to do anything with the Film Crew site, he only got Erik (torgosPizza) to throw the RiffTrax banners on it to get a bit of exposure back when they were getting all the publicity over the Film Crew DVD releases.

I know, I know... Sigh. I just really don't want the Film Crew to die.

Well, it is the holiday season so the CT crew is probably busy doing the family thing and whatnot. (And eagerly awaiting the reviews of their first DVD!) I’m sure it wont be long before we hear from them again.

cinematictitanic.com/wpmu/This worked just fine ( just now ! ) There was a "you are being redirected" shortly after their launch , could that be where you're getting "mis-led" ?

I think they're not wanting to pour too much money into this until they see how well their DVD sells.
The very fact that its spreading by word of mouth (How many people have you told about this who like MST3K but aren't on these boards?) is probably all they want for now. That's why it all seems so mysterious.
Someone said on the first page that Joel always left you wanting more, and that's exactly what's happening.

Apart from maybe a forum and more frequent updates, what can they do with their catalog of one movie to make it more in line with the RiffTrax that wouldn't just make them followers? Besides, I actually prefer the very Joelish lo-fi look to the more cluttered style of the RT site. (Anybody remember the old black on white Gizmonics site? It'd look right at home next to CT.com)

I'm not really asking for much.

I'm no expert by far , but watch it load & it "looks" like a redirect is occurring.

So sad to see to whom the original url went to in the end. (And I'll NEVER get it! ) But I agree, I hope the do more with the site, and with Joel involved I'm sure it would be very cool! But for now, the blog is fine for me.
