Considering that as a company, they may have only been open on the 26th, 27th, 28th, 31st, 2nd and today, I'm willing to cut them a lot of slack. Heck, my whole company had the 22nd thru the 2nd off. We will never know what days they had off or anything but if they actually did take the weekend days off when they can see the "record breaking" sales coming in then they really need to take some basic business classes. This was their chance to impress a ton of new customers to their service and they blew it. Hopefully they will learn from this and on the next one take a few days to have some discs ready before making it available to order. If the next title is able to use the download service I really hope they take a good hard look at their bandwidth because there is nothing worse than slow downloads or not being able to connect with a site.

All I am saying is... they said within 10 business days. It hasn't been 10 business days yet, so technically they haven't broken any promises. If the guy that Stoopid talked to was correct, and they DO ship out on the 8th, that would be exactly 10 business days (excluding the 2 holidays and weekends). But believe me, I want to see this as much as anyone else! By the way, this might interest some folks here: www.eztakes.com/store/info/employment.jsp

Thanks for doing that forbidding Holiday math there, Shark-a-puss ! They'd seem to be right on track ( damn Holidays !! ) I'd bet Joel's slightly mortified that he announced it's original release-date ( perfect for the Holidays ) , and then the extra work that will cherished as worth it ended up pushing it right into the midst of the spottiest of manufacturing seasons. I mean, The Titans didn't originally aim for dragging it out over The Holidays , and yet I'd wager the consumer Que has only grown.

Not that they would "compromise" just for our sake, but since Rifftrax is venturing into Download on Demand, and CT (was) intending to start out that way...
Why do we have to have two Downloaders? EZTakes has its own system, but doesn't the actual video end up being DivX (which is what Rifftrax uses?)

I've tried the Rifftrax downloader (Fred Willard is AWESOME in Missle to the Moon, 5 star show, there). And, you don't just get a DivX movie when you use that. You get some encrypted thing that only plays through the DivX player and only after it verifies that it's you through a free-to-register user account every time it runs it. It can be burnt to a DVD but will only play in a DivX compatible DVD player that (I'm a little blurry here) has to be registered or something.
So, I would actually be a little disapointed in the Rifftrax DivX system if it weren't for the fact that I have a PC linked to the TV in my living room and can still watch stuff like this on "the big screen."

Right, what you are getting is the files for an actual DVD which the Downloader will then burn for you to use.

Good work, BS. Did you hear a TV in the background? Maybe he was watching the tube while he burned discs. Did his mom come into the room while you were on the phone? I want to know it all! lmao ;D

"And in breaking news, our Cub Reporter, Big Stoopid is on the line. Hello, B.S."
"Thanks, Connie. I have been in contact with a spokesman from the company that is to produce the premier Cinematic Titanic DVD. I didn't get his name, but he said they will be shipping very soon."
"Thats great news Big. How did you manage to establish contact?"
"I called the phone number listed on their web-site. To my surprise, someone actually answered."
"That's amazing work! I think there may be a Pulitzer Prize in your future... And now, another reported siting of the creature the media has dubbed Skyroniter."
A very excellent job. Thanks David.

Wow, this is one anxious section of the board. I'm really interested to see this thing, too, but we're not even at the two weeks mark set by the confirmation email. If every CT release is this scrutinized the stress will kill us all.

I must admit , as the day went on , & the crowd carried me down the street . . ticker-tape in my hair . . . I did think "well , you know . . . I just kind'a made a phone-call there you guys. What ?, we're all such Inter-nerds that we don't do such ol' school stuff as "human contact over telephones" ?? What are we , Unabombers in our respective shacks over here ?" If I may pull another dramatic episode from my exciting adventures : "We'd planned this vacation for years , but it looked like it was ending at this God-forsaken rest-stop. We hadn't packed enough provisions to live on for long , and . . . it would be dark soon. As my Father fell to his knees by the road-side , I got behind the wheel in a desperate bid for survival , and ! I turned the key !"
