OK, new theory. Orders are being filled by a "First come. First serve." basis. Those who ordered first are getting theirs. I know I ordered mine about 5 min. after I got the email notification that the discs were on sale. As I say, a theory. Well, I ordered mine 5 minutes before Joel said they'd be on sale, got one of the lowest order ids here, got my shipping notice on the 9th like everybody else, but still no disc. I'm in Queens, NY, and somebody on the thread in Brooklyn already has it (although I know somebody else there who's still waiting). I'm thinking the spread in delivery is thanks to the USPS, who probably received the first few thousand in a lump on the 9th.

OK, never mind, I got nothing then on what the delays could possibly be then.

I placed my order at night on January 8th and I got a shipping confirmation on Friday. Even though it said I had a two week wait ahead of me.

Maybe RAD could be our peace envoy and masterfully negotiate a truce for us with, um, What's-His-Name, who, coincidentally, I hold in the highest possible regard, as do all of us humble MSTies of the Delaware Valley, USA. We could offer to send some of our delicious regional favorite -- WaWa coffee -- in tribute. To: He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named Offering: 1 Honey Roasted Turkey and Swiss Shorti - Toasted Roll - Lettuce - Pickles - Mayo - Honey Mustard - Parm. Cheese - Salt - Pepper - Oregano - Extra Meat & Cheese - Bacon and 1 Mach W Energy Drink. And we'll have it delivered to him, with the TastyCakes, by Sally Starr and Jim Gardner. It has to work! It just HAS to!!!! But, if it doesn't, we may have to resort to cheesesteaks with, delivered by an army of Mummers.

Woot! It was delivered to my house in Michigan today! Well, It's obviously not a state thing as far as speed in which we're receiving them. I too live in Michigan and no disc yet.

I'm not posting about this anymore. It will be here when it gets here and I am not going to whine about it. God evidently loves some of you more than me. I hope they work out the download problems soon. I would rather download and burn my own than to go through this crap again. Phooey on mailed disks!

Yay! I actually got mine on Saturday. Woke up after sleeping in pretty late, then found noone had gotten the mail. So I went out to get it... and there it was! In a tiny little DVD paper sleeve with a mailing label slapped on. Oh well, the DVD was fine.
Sadly I had to watch it in two sittings, since I was board gaming all night Saturday, and didn't have time to see the whole thing when I got it. But I had to at least check it out a little right away!
Anyway, my impressions are now recorded for all to see in the review thread.

Are you *sure* this doesn't have anything to do with it?. You were in on the joke too... weren't you? I did type out "Winky" once or twice, but I don't think I was being particularly disrespectful, if at all disrespectful. Master Winky, sir, I do heretofore and most sincerely apologize if somehow or other I messed with your head. Well I actually named Winky Winky and I got mine on Saturday. He's so misunderstood.

Maryland and New York = Yes PA and New Jersey = No Hmmm... Maybe we should start dotting a map with who has them and who's still waiting. ...and then won't we be freaked out when there is a secret message, or maybe a smiley face, in the dots? Hehehe (Maybe it'll spell "Winky")

You slept in "pretty late" until after the mailman got there. A very subjective phrase. 2. Undetermined amount of time passes. Presumably very little, as you are excited about the prospect of receiving your dvd that day. 3. You found your disk, and (presumably) immediately raced into the house to watch it. 4. You could only watch part of it because you were "board gaming all night Saturday" 5. You, in fact, had only time to "check it out a little" before said night activities? Therefore, I conclude that "pretty late" refers to the appoximate time of 5 PM. Thank you! /bows ;D

Isn't sleeping what weekends are for? I had to head out in time for dinner with the people who were gaming (around 6), so I watched about up to chapter 4 on the disc.

Yes, there is much rejoicing in the Delaware Valley today!!! Mine arrived as well.
Good thing too, as I was about to send Captain Noah and the Magical Ark up to Massachusets to raid EZTakes headquarters and bring me the head of the dread pirate Winky.
I was thinking. Since there seem to be a fair number of MSTies in the South Jersey / Philadelphia area, has anyone ever tossed around the idea of a viewing party?

There seem to be a bunch of us in the Maryland area as well. Although, Philly is close enough that we could potentially *all* band together up there. I think it would be brilliant - watching MST is only enhanced with a large group of people laughing along with you, and perhaps throwing in their own riffs.
