So, somebody is already selling (what I think are) pirate copies of Oozing Skull on eBay. Of course he's/she's selling them for more than you can buy them online! Though it's possible that this bloke/sheila may be an authorized seller for this item I kinda doubt it. For one their base of operations is in Oregon. I mean you can't argue that these are "fan" copies since the only way you can get it is from Eztakes.
I tried to contact Cinematic Titanic itself but they have no contact link.

I doubt this is one of CT's people. I have to say, I find it rather disgusting when people do this. You see this happen a lot with things that have just been released to the general masses, ie. games, books, dvds, ect. If you are a TRUE respectful fan, you would honor the gang at CT. Tell people where they can buy the dvd, and not be some bloody pirate. I don't care how you justify it.

And this seller is really price-gouging! Asking $22.95 + 6.00 shipping! Just preying on impulse buyers & folks who don't know where they can order it legitimately.

Didn't they give an address for their PR guy? I'm sure he'd pass along the info. The guys at Satellite News could probably contact them, as well.

He needs a week to ship them, doesn't sound like pirated copies.

Or could he just be getting their mailing addresses and ordering the dvd's from Eztakes, then having them sent to his auction winners? Either way, kinda sleazy. Makes me want to post a Buy it Now auction for a penny with instructions on where to go to get the DVD.

I think we just have a case of someone seeing a case to cash in on the fact that EZTakes won''t ship outside the US or take Paypal. Doesn't appear to have actually sold any yet.

Someone specifically asked someone to do this on some forum or another, stating he was in the UK and couldn't buy it. Not unreasonable for the seller to ask a few extra bucks for his trouble.

Not everybody belongs to a forum, so I'm sure there are some people who will discover CT through places like EBAY. I contacted this fellow through EBAY on Friday and he seems like an enthusiastic MSTie (He didn't have his copy yet, so he asked me to let him know what I thought of it if I received mine on Saturday) who is paying retail price and re-selling on EBAY.
I hate "gouging" too, but in my opinion this is not an example of it.
