You got confirmation of that? Will they alert us when they will no longer be pressed so we can begin downloading? I got confirmation that all the initial discs of each CT episode will be factory pressed. Eventually they will revert to DVD-Rs as they get older. This is only in relation to paying the extra $3 to have them make and send you the discs. The plan is to have them available to download and burn whenever possible. CT-1 had a rights issue and that is why you can't download it and burn it right now. But for $3 extra bucks I will wait for the factory pressed discs. I'm assuming the delay between first orders and the start of shipping was sending it out to get umpteen discs pressed. Does this mean: (1) there's going to be a similar delay between the download releases and the time they start shipping future releases, (2) now that they've got a supplier picked, they can get it done faster the next time, or (3) they'll hold off on making the downloads available so as not to put the disc buyers at further disadvantage?

Well there will probably be less of a crush to mail actual DVDs if the download option is available, but I'm with MrTorso on this one... I'll gladly wait a few extra days and spend $3 for a factory pressed disc.
