. . . Nuttin' happens ! I'm going for Big Stupid over there as well , and I've obviously tried it 3 or 4 times now. I enter "b" and it auto-scrolls in , as does my email . . click "Next" and zip ! . . . nada ! Nothing happens, and nothing gets sent to me with which to activate ! Now, a plot to keep me out I can certainly understand ( ) , but somehow I think I'm just missing something. But what ?

What a timely thread! It just so happens that I emailed the person who runs the website yesterday and told him that this issue needs to be addressed. I know for a fact he's out of town right now on business, but he should be returning soon and we'll see that this problem is resolved.
One of the other things that we implemented was to only allow registered guests to post. That has really helped keep the forum better moderated, but it means that the log-in issue HAS to be addressed.

I totally figured I was a lone boob on this , but krista jumped in within minutes !! Glad it ain't just my numb ( oozing ) skull ! I await further clarity . . .

I can register again, but that might send me to Big Stoopid's problem xD
I thought I was just dumb for not being able to figure out how to sign in. Registering wasn't the easiest thing, either!

How many steps ? . .wait, according to Sir RAD , it isn't working right . . so let's not knock ourselves out over it. He'll let us know when it's ironed out I'm sure !

Krista/Big, You guys have already registered and have a password, correct? RAD For those who may say "C'mon B.S. , answer the man !" , We've also been PM-ing and emailing while he's been up at this hour. That question was answered at 3:16 where I responded to his PM of a log-in link with : Hmm, nice try ( thanks ! ) , but I don't have a password yet. I just tried again before and got to "stage 2" where it shows me my user name & email and says I'll get my password & activation "in a few days" . . . . but I saw that one weeks ago too. After which nuthin' happened. I think you're right that somethin' needs fixin' !! I'm sure you'll use my "new timely thread" to let us know what happens.
Thank you again Good Sir ! But his posting a new "Update On Joel" thread "suggests" he's taking calls from Joel who's up too ! Some cool stuff going on between 3 and 4 am !

I have the same prob that Big Stoopid has. I got no confirmation email when I tried to register. Some people in CT section of the RT forum have reported the "no confirmation email" issue too. And, much like Krista, I don't see where one goes to log in to the forum when one does get the password. But maybe that's just me overlooking something?

If you have registered and have a password, go to the Support part of the CT forum. I can't remember the exact wording, but it basically says, Are you having problems? (Nevermind that, link's below) I registered some time ago but could not login as there's no place on the page to do it even after registering. It still showed that I was a guest. But I read through one of the columns and someone helpfully posted the link to the login page. cinematictitanic.com/wpmu/sf-forum/?forum=7&topic=20&page=2Reply 2 on that page gives a link to signup (whether it's still accurate, I don't know, I was already registered). Reply 5 gives a link on how to sign in. That worked for me.

This is a timely thread. I've tried several times to register and it won't send the activation email. Also, why do some forum members have capital letters in their name, but it won't let me submit a name with capital letters, or a space? Because, you know, I've gotta be "Hugh Beaumont".

Hugh, Same thing happened to me, it wouldn't allow capitals (and you know I have to be RAD, not rad). Once you're registered, you can put in the screen name you want displayed. No fears, you WILL be Hugh Beaumont. RAD
