Hey all,
I wanted to update all of you on Joel's responses to the questions posted. As you all know, the Titans just did the live event in Minneapolis. It was great fun, but I'm sure everyone can imagine all of the work that was involved to make it happen. And darn if it wasn't right in the middle of Joel choosing and answering your questions. So just be patient for a little while longer. Joel has been hard at work answering the questions you were burning to have an answer to, but what with all of the traveling, entertaining fans at the live event, signing everything that fans pushed in front of him (not to mention all of the behind-the-scenes planning that goes into making a show like that happen!) it's not quite finished yet.
So, we like the concept of a Friday posting, and in keeping with that theme, next Friday Joel will be posting his answers. Sorry for the delay, but you guys asked some wonderful, thought-provoking questions that deserve the attention that Joel is giving them.

Not to be negative and I know this isn't that big of a deal, but this kind of cements for me that it is useless to bank on any CT dates--I believe they haven't hit any, big or small, yet. It really sucks, but I don't think I can get excited about CT dates any more-- I just get let down. I'm not saying I'm giving up on the product itself, but "following" CT has just become no fun for me.

I'm just happy that it's happening! Not just Joel answering the questions but CT! If they miss some dates so be it as this is a big new experiment for those taking part as well as those watching.

BoB3K,
I know how you feel, I'm the same way, but I would ask for a little lee-way with this new venture. Please remember that this endeavor is not backed by any corporate sponsor or legions of personnel. There's no huge machinery to do the heavy lifting. It's five people doing this on their own and learning as they go. Like anything of this magnitude, it may take a short while to get all of the kinks worked out. I've personally seen first-hand where everything appears to be in place, you make a 'best-guess' release date (and you could make the argument; 'Then why even give a date at all'?) It's because people want some type of information. And then, something totally unexpected and from left-field completely disrupts everything and all bets are off. You're left scrambling to try to deal with the situation and get everything back on course as soon as possible. And, there's definitely a learning curve, so it WILL get better. I know that everybody's patience is finite, but I would ask that you spare just a little more.

Well, the live show on the 12th seemed to go as scheduled. As RAD says, there's many more layers to things then the Titans may have anticipated when they first got rollin' ! That said , having bumped "The Answers" a full additional week the day after we expected them , I suggest Joel go nuts and answer 30 !! . . . . more !! That's right , a Top 50 ! how about 25 ?

Hehe, I agree with Big. He should have to answer twice as many questions for being twice as late! That way there will actually be a chance of mine getting answered!

I'm glad for people like RAD and Joel and all the others that take the time to think about including us in what they do. I look forward to all the new projects because after years of nothing I feel like my favorite show is breathing once again thanks to CT and Rifftrax and Film Crew.
Thanks again for thinking of us RAD and friends....

Wow normalview , that's perfect. Even tho' the rest of us were being earnest & loving w/ tongue-in-cheek , your perspective shines out like something an innocent Tiny Tim would say to make all the "grown-ups" stop and realize what they're taking for granted. We weren't really , but it's still good to stop and remember that they're all coming forth with new projects / honoring the past in their words and actions / getting back into character for three and a half minutes / and thanking us for always being fans by answering new questions and sending out emails like Josh's bountiful latest ! This , and other MSTy forums , could've been like keeping the past on life-support . . . no different then a "Laurel & Hardy Society" or such . . . but more and more there's fresh blood running thru nearly every organ and limb ! The patient is up and about , and looking rather healthy !

LOL... Normalview, you are what keeps the Titans rolling along! Thanks. And I just wanted to append this to my previous post about delays. Seems Rhino has met with 'Unexpected Production Delays' that is pushing back the shipping date of the single disc. Now if an established, large corporation hits unexpected snags that delays shipping, can you imagine what 5 individuals doing this on their own are up against? Again, I ask that you have just a smidgen more patience and realize that these guys are doing all of this for you, the fans. And thus far, they've done a pretty good job, as far as I'm concerned. RAD

That's what makes it all the more amazing to me. I mean, it's not like this is the only thing they're doing. CT is their fun project that they hope to do more of (it seems to me) and as fans who've stuck with them for this long it seems only fair to let them get up to speed at their speed.

Thanks for the kind words, RAD (and Big Stoopid). I totally agree with you about the group doing a pretty good job doing things for the fans. Hope things get ironed out smoothly.

I wish they knew somebody who did websites and forums...
Someone should offer to help them.

I just barely know enough to webmaster my way out of a wet paper bag but I'd volunteer if I thought I could be of any help!

The Titans can take all the time they need, as far as I'm concerned. Same for Joel's questions.
Heck, my other media-love, Grand Theft Auto, moved their latest release from October 07 to April 08, and I haven't shot up any GameStops or EB Games at all...
